It’s incredible how harsh people are being on Grosjean, in the BBC’s compilation of all his first lap incidents:
Australia with Maldonado can’t be his fault,
I can’t see much wrong with his line in Spain against Perez.
Monaco saw him boxed in before he lost control and clipped Schumi.
Silverstone’s incident was neither his or Di Resta’s fault, but more a lack of judgement from Paul as to where his car was on quite a tricky corner.
BBC even put his German ’off track’ incident in for no apparent reason other than to try and make up the numbers.
However, I will concede that the Belgium crash was entirely his fault. He had no reason to move any further across the track, particularly with another car there.
The Japan incident is a tricky one, and I think it’s more just a misjudgement of speed and turning from Romain.
