I thought they deliberately left Le Mans Bugatti out of Grand Prix Legends because it wasn’t very popular? They used Rouen instead.
But I agree it’s a good calendar and I’m sure the teams will appreciate the cost saving of not having to trek all the way to Moscow for what was invariably the worst racing of the year.
October 18th – Formula Renault 3.5 – Carlos Sainz Jnr – Race 16 of 17
October 19th – Acceleration FA1 – Nigel Melker – Race 10 of 10
I was very unimpressed with it as I mentioned in this later review of a film with a similar subject:
Disappointing to see the title decided the way it was. Sainz definitely deserved to win it, but that was definitely an anticlimax.
What a surprise result for Visser, though!
OK race times are as follows:
11:30 ESPN Formula Renault 2.0 race one live
13:00 ESPN Formula Renault 3.5 race one live
11:30 ESPN Formula Renault 2.0 race two live
12:45 BT Sport 2 Formula Renault 3.5 race two live
I guess being in the crowd didn’t make it any more exciting…
@andae23 That is clever. Hopefully can find something similar for future races.
It isn’t loading for me – what is it?
Good to see there’s some ‘positive’ videos out there too.
@andae23 I’ve also taken the video off here to be on the safe side. I expect FOM will have that down soon anyway.
@andae23 Thanks, had just seen it. I’m not posting it publicly on the site but have used it to add some details here:
Several minutes of footage of the Bianchi crash recovery scene. Nothing graphic and nothing particularly instructive either, though it gives an indication of the position of the car relative to the crane:
The same user has uploaded four more from practice but nothing significant:
