It also illustrates how little Ferrari care about the WCC, as they are willing to surrender 2nd place to McLaren to give Alonso a better shot at the WDC.

Tilke’s contribution was the run-off areas’ design, I believe. That seemed to me what they were mostly referring to, not the course itself.

I don’t think one can blame the track design based solely on environmental mess (pollution/dust) for this specific weekend.

Yeah, I didn’t predict Vettel in the top 5 either. I get a feeling his demise/delay will be more due to some other driver/incident rather than a mechanical or brainfart problem.
