My top 5
Sounds like something NASCAR would do, but the FIA beat them to it for once
Sutil vs Di Resta 2: Electric Boogaloo
I got my tickets, sitting at GS 22
I say Vettel on Button. Some say that he had a tire advantage, and they’re entirely right. But how much of an advantage was it really if he spent so many laps behind him?
McLaren ruining the season for their drivers (“Oh dear, it’s happened again.”)
And of course hearing my hero Schumacher retiring. I never got to travel to a GP to watch him race :(.
Schumacher’s podium in Valencia
Alonso’s win in Valencia.
Rosberg’s first win.
Maldonado’s first win.
Perez’s early success.
The last three races were the most exciting races of the year.
Although I live in Canada, I watch the BBC’s coverage on TSN, so it doesn’t affect me much. But I record and watch Speed’s coverage of practice, and I’ve grown to like the commentators. If NBC takes over, hopefully they can broadcast more practice sessions. Personally I find their IndyCar commentators annoying; this year they were explaining defending your position.
But in closing, it’s a move for the best because NBC is a bigger broadcast company that everyone has, and so it should increase exposure to F1 in the US, since there will be two races there
I’m guessing the circuit’s website has tickets on sale?
@andyredden-on-f1 Yeah you’re right about it being an RB5. Looks like a late season RB5 when they put the shark fin on it. I was never aware the RB5 had the v-nose, so when I saw it on this car I thought it was the RB6.
I’d like to know if there’s anything special about the visor in F1 helmets that makes them different from others.
One interesting thing I learned about the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is that the drivers use a clear visor with tinted tear offs to make the conversion to night.
Why not an experimental class in the WEC
