Lord Stig commented on the post, Kubica only looking for F1 return 2 weeks ago
The teams should agree on a reasonable cap on engine development costs and then strictly enforce it. Require all engine suppliers to have audits conducted by one of the big four auditors (KPMG, […]

Lord Stig replied to the forum topic Attitude is everything, or why I don't like Kimi Raikkonen in the group
F1 2 months agoI would concur with Nicholas. It’s not Kimi’s job to accommodate the engineer during the race. The engineer is there to support the driver, that support should be defined by the driver.

Lewis seems to be getting him self in some trouble again.
Just noticed @jensonbutton unfollowed, thats a shame. After 3 years as teammates, I thought we respected one another but clearly he doesn’t.— Lewis […]

Sad to hear of the passing of Sid Watkins. He has done so much to improve the safety of F1 over the years. Many drivers owe their life to his work.

Lord Stig commented on the post, Grosjean handed one-race ban for first-corner crash 8 months, 2 weeks ago
I must agree with some of the postings people have made. While it is clear Grosjean was at fault, the penalty applied was not equal to the offense. It seems the stewards made the decision based on the amount of […]

It will be interesting to see how that qualifying pace advantage translates to the race. Tire degradation may not be in Jenson’s favor as he has opted for a low downforce setup. Raikkonen has the opposite setup.

I think in this case they gave the penalty because the team specifically told him car 12 was behind him.

There is no doubt F1 could survive without Spa. However, the track is one of the best that is up to the standards of modern F1.

5/10.
Not very exciting on the overtaking front, and the DRS zone was not effective. Tyre strategies were interesting but that was about it.

Lord Stig commented on the post, Vote for the best driver of the German GP weekend 9 months, 4 weeks ago
I don’t like Alonso at all, but this was a super drive. He was able to master the wet conditions in Q3, while others (such as Raikkonen) faltered. His pace carried into the race and was able to control the race […]

Lord Stig commented on the post, Alonso ahead but wary of McLaren’s dry-weather pace 10 months ago
They added the DRS zone into the hairpin so that should makes things easier.
As others have said if the Q1 pace of Raikkonen is legitimate he could win the race. His lap was fast than others attempting to do […]

That was quite nice of real Charlie Whiting to do that! I have been following him for a while and he really is a bag of laughs.
