I really am unsure about Nasr. He had a solid start last year, but as the season went on I actually was more impressed by Ericcson. This year, apart from a one race, it never seemed to work for him.
I really […]
Hm, it really shows how hard it is to rate the driver. I still would put Kvyat ahead, he DID get that podium in China afterall. And in the last couple of races he has regained his race craft and finished.
Yeah, I also rated him a bit higher amongst the field. I do think he has potential, but the promotion to the big team probably came at the wrong time for him. And demotion certainly found him searching for a purpose.
Sadly for him that is, right @f120-20? We as fans can be happy with the quality the gird has currently.
I agree that he might have stayed on longer with a lower quality (or larger) field. But that is not a bad […]

Sadly not – it’s 99, which Adrian Sutil chose when he was racing.
I don’t believe drivers are required to use integers, however, so perhaps some smarty pants could choose π? I know I would…

The terms ‘pay driver’ conjures up memories of drivers like Giovanni Lavaggi and Jean-Denis Deletraz hopelessly peddling around at the tail of the field. While Rio Haryanto undoubtedly owed his place in F1 to […]

Because the people pushing for it have been the regional government, who want to bring the region up a bit.

Glad to see France back on the calendar. With Renault back in the sport and some good French drivers around it’s a smart move.
What’s key now is how much work the organisers are prepared to do in shifting the […]

I think that side-on shot really does flatter them. I do prefer to see cars in their correct liveries but can’t deny that looks smart.
However my favourite picture here isn’t of an F1 car, it’s this.
Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen took a pair of Ferrari F1 cars onto the Daytona oval during Ferrari’s end-of-season celebration event last weekend.
The pair demonstrated a pair of F60s decked out in the […]
