MagillaGorilla commented on the post, Rosberg was aware what tyres Pirelli were testing 1 week, 5 days ago
@celeste if they actually thought that there was enough to go on to punish Merc GP they would have done so already. They wouldn’t be taking time to argue this in IT, if there was enough proof, the FIA would have […]

@jameswalker …the example will probably be the FIA

@mantresx what proof do you have that Pirelli isn’t lying?

MagillaGorilla commented on the post, Why a former F1 mechanic believes Mercedes’ secret test “was a huge advantage” 2 weeks, 1 day ago
@pmccarthy_is_a_legend from a pure technical concept on what Merc GP could have gained or any team in general I guess one could say it was “good”. However, on the basis that it really isn’t acknowledging spec […]

@bascb …what? why? The book doesn’t cost that much, I own the other Haynes books and for the price, and amount of detail as well as engineering drawings and technical understanding they are worth it. Far more […]

Why does this FIA group look like a group that would oppose James Bond, or better yet be a Marvel superhero team.

MagillaGorilla commented on the post, Four Mercedes rivals say they had no test invitation 3 weeks ago
RBR mainly, but Ferrari do it too, and McLaren usually only do it when RBR are winning too much. @celeste
In this case I was mainly going on about RBR. -
MagillaGorilla commented on the post, Four Mercedes rivals say they had no test invitation 3 weeks ago
@breesegp That would be the stupidest thing for FOM today, if they are actually trying to do so. Unless they can get a group to make a tire for F1 under the certain rules the FOM seem to want and in two to three […]

MagillaGorilla commented on the post, Four Mercedes rivals say they had no test invitation 3 weeks ago
@celeste anytime they aren’t the ones that are at the top end of something they’ll complain. Doesn’t that justify their reasoning for complaining which is easily chalked up to, self-centered ideals. When the shoe […]

@adrianmorse I wonder if it has anything to do with the brake failure he had during winter testing, and just the overall feel of the car.

MagillaGorilla commented on the post, 2013 Monaco Grand Prix grid 3 weeks, 4 days ago
The problem with that is @Joshua-mesh, the Merc’s usually need to pit first and when in good position and allowed to go flat out, they make something out of it. China this year for example.

@pielighter this is very true, but one only has to look at last year and see that even Lotus were good then with tires then, but now have a faster car as well.

MagillaGorilla commented on the post, Boullier criticises Pirelli tyre tweaks 1 month ago
To be fair, I agree with Boullier on this, you can’t move the goal post every time something goes wrong. I have never understood banning Aero parts that are not illegal based on the regulations, but more so due to […]

@vettel1 one of the few things I agree with you upon, and glad others think the same. I don’t like the mandatory idea of teams having to use both compounds, teams should be given full liberty to be their course […]
