In fact, I reckon that’s due to fan favouritism more than anything (and this is coming form me, who has “vettel1″ as his @mention) @malleshmagdum!

MagillaGorilla commented on the post, Pirelli plan tyre changes to prevent four-stoppers 1 week, 1 day ago
@malleshmagdum how is one irrelevant to the other? IF a tire is too aggressive in nature and the structural stability of said tire isn’t their, then failures are going to be more evident rather than if the tires […]

@malleshmagdum I get what you mean, but I think there is more tho these changes than Pirelli is let in see. Paul Di Resta and Hamilton both have had structural problems during practice because of “debris”. I don´t […]

What about those tyres that don’t last more than 7 laps and start falling off at lap 4-5? C’mon, even Pirelli has acknowledged they’ve got it wrong.

thedamntyres commented on the post, Pirelli plan tyre changes to prevent four-stoppers 1 week, 2 days ago
@malleshmagdum I’m not sure how they are unrelated. While Pirelli have been really consistent, the brief comparison of the fastest lap below does indicate that the drivers don’t really push any more these […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Pirelli plan tyre changes to prevent four-stoppers 1 week, 2 days ago
@malleshmagdum of course, but I still think a default three is too much. A default two or one, as per the end of last year, would be fine as that still means drivers are pushing enough so we have racing but it […]

@malleshmagdum You have raised a good point.. however, imagine PDR and JEV facing a similar tyre issues (threads coming off and exposing the inner belt) in other circuits like Monaco. It’s not really safe is it? […]

@malleshmagdum I hate when people use the Bridgestone excuse in that way: it isn’t a simple black-and-white “we either have 4 stop races or no stop races”. There is a middle ground, which is what happened towards […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Vettel opposes plan for penalty points 1 week, 2 days ago
@malleshmagdum ah I see what you’re thinking. No it’s not a points deduction, it is like penalty points on a British driver’s licence: if you get 12 of these (aren’t at all related to championship points) you get […]

@malleshmagdum No one is having any points deducted.

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Vettel opposes plan for penalty points 1 week, 2 days ago
@malleshmagdum they aren’t punishing the teams though: if the driver reaches 12 points he will serve a race ban but the car can still be entered with another driver of course.

@malleshmagdum Well, yeah..you’re right about the cultural difference. In several ways, we Bengalis are different from other people of India as well…but really, cultural difference or not, there shouldn’t be a […]

@malleshmagdum That’s very bad. It takes less than 2 days from me(I’m from Calcutta)..but I doubt there is an anti-South India quota only..I think it is an anti-non-North-Indian quota..if you know what I mean.

@malleshmagdum Kimi won more races than Alonso in 2005, (7 to 6) but car fragility prevented him for getting the championship.

We all heard that on the radio. Vettel was definitely asking for his gift but he didn’t receive it.
Its funny that Vettel would talk about the thrill of winning it ‘without gifts’ […]
