Alessandra – yes – bronze/silver/gold all eligible for pit lane walk on Thurs.

My second time to Spa this year; camping at the yellow site and taking our bikes. Camped at elephant last time but too far from the circuit in my view – hard to beat Monza and Hockenheim for that sort of thing.

Getting the ferry at 1am on Thurs to arrive at the yellow site first thing and choose our pitch, sitting in Gold 4.

Look out for a black BMW 320d with circuit stickers on the rear!

All booked – tickets arrived about 3 weeks ago. Sitting in Mercedes Tribune – lower tier. Not booked camping yet, but will probably go for C as looks closest to the track.

I have 2 spare Mercedes Tribune tickets for sale – a pair for 500 quid. These are prime seats – on the edge of the grandstand so you can see the cars from turn 3 all the way up to the hairpin and back towards and round the infield section. Cost 300 quid each including delivery etc……email me at markodonnell10@hotmail.com

    I think its 7am.

Kemmel Straight is ok, but the track rises up above the walkway down towards Les Combes so you can’t see a huge amount the further up the straight you go. Just make sure with GA you get to the gates early. We got to the gate a 0630 and there were queues on Sunday.

There is a great little spot in front of the lodge/villa/chateux at the top of Eau Rouge but you will need to be there early doors for that.

Va bene! The phrasebook is out!

We’re ferrying to Dunkerque early on Weds morning and going Lille / Namur / Luxembourg / Metz / Strasbourg / Mulhouse on the Wednesday with an overnight at the appropriately named F1 hotel at Mulhouse Airport.

Camping booked at the Autodromo – been finalising the list of bits to take! I’ll be in a white Golf (AK11 WUL) and a grey Halfords tent for anyone camping at Biassono.

Pouhon is decent for General Admission.

We sat at the Bus Stop chicane but the trees prevented you from seeing anything that wasn’t directly in front of you. There is a cheeky little area in front of the chateau at the top of Eau Rouge for GA as well, but you’ll have to be in early to get that spot.

Francorchamps is good after practice / quali – but we were quite a way away – we camped at The Elephant.

    Stavelot is miles away!

Ok, thanks for that. We’ll be arriving by car on Thurs AM so hopefully this should be ok? Also, is there not a site by the main circuit entrance? Are there other sites that spring up too? Just worried about driving there and not being able to get in. When we went to Spa, there were loads of sites!

Can anybody help with the camping? I cannot get hold of them for love nor money despite the camping now being available to book (apparently).

I’m looking at the site on monza net – anybody got any suggestions? Starting to get a bit worried as it looks as though the camping was only available to book from fri – mon, is that right?

    I don’t know…..

I enjoyed it but I like going to overseas Grand Prix and don’t think I’ll be able to afford to do two again – especially as I’ll only sit in a grandstand.

I live so close so it feels criminal NOT to go. I’m currently pencilled in for the NJ Grand Prix instead!

Enjoyed Silverstone though – if i went next year, I’d definitely choose Village over Abbey.
