thanks for the help guy’s and gals – I am all packed and ready to head to the ferry tomorrow lunch – Really looking forward to it!
We’ll be staying in the campsite at stavelot with the campingf1 lot, so if anyone is around feel free to give me a shout.

Firstly, Hello all!
First post, so excuse the lack of etiquette/forum knowledge.
After having been to my first GP in India last year and the lapse security allowing us (despite being in premium seats) to walk pretty much the entire circuit up to and around the pits. I decided to visit Silverstone this year (after an unfortunate incident where I had to sell last years… – Please excuse the vagueness, the story stems from the bits we don’t talk about… Religion, politics and mostly… well, women.) Stark contrast in where you can access.
So with my 30th Birthday looming (this Sunday) and not knowing what to do, we have decided to undertake a mini road trip… Commencing on Thursday morning, we will be travelling from our sleepy village to Dover, then from Calais to an overnight in Bruge, before setting off to our campsite near Spa (organised by Camping F1) – now having read a few reviews, I am a bit dubious about where we have booked… i am hoping it is not a money spinning con… but Eddie Jordan is supposed to be playing on a stage on the Saturday… So I can’t imagine it being all the dreadful (the campsite, not Eddie)
Really looking forward to it!
We booked the GA tickets as I have heard it there are far better vantage points, I expect Friday will be a rekky day to find the best spots, but if anyone has any tips – that would be great!
Also if anyone has any tips as to what to take for the day (can you take in your own food/cups of tea/booze?)
