yeah, good news, but we’re waiting for Godot… when i first heard about rFactor 2, Sebastian Vettel still had no WDC in his CV.
30th April 2013, 8:01 at 8:01 am #232526matt88ParticipantI started watching F1 in 1995, when i was 7. Never smoked a cigarette…
I think that smoking cigarettes should be forbidden for underage kids, but an adult person is free to hurt himself/herself as he/she pleases. I find hypocritical to bash just cigarettes when alcohol and gambling advertising are still regarded as fully acceptable.20th April 2013, 14:47 at 2:47 pm #227806matt88Participant@aish here’s a possible answer provided by F1PitRadio Twitter account.
“Not sure, but mechanics appeared to have re-secured a carbon panel in the foot box”20th April 2013, 13:54 at 1:54 pm #227805matt88ParticipantActually, I don’t know, and it was during Q1, not FP3. i’m looking for an answer, but there’s only mention of a ‘foreign body’ in his cockpit, without further details.
Some bad people think that Giedo has just reached puberty… :-D20th April 2013, 12:26 at 12:26 pm #227803matt88ParticipantFresh from FP3 in Bahrain…
Giedo van der Garde:”There’s something in the cockpit… between my legs… it’s moving!”

I’m sorry I won’t have this chance any more, but I understand that content robbers are far more than a worry nowadays.
24th March 2013, 10:09 at 10:09 am #229323matt88ParticipantRumours told that he would have wanted to drive a Ferrari sooner or later, and we Italians had strong admiration for Senna. Probably he’s been the most appreciated non-Ferrari driver of all times in Italy and, if I remember correctly, the ‘Avvocato’ Gianni Agnelli had a soft spot for him, so I’d like to picture how everything would have changed if he had moved to Ferrari in 1996 instead of Schumacher.
Then, maybe 2-3 seasons trying to improve with his experience that dog of a car. Maybe he would have been able to win a championship earlier than Schumi. And then he would have retired, happy to have reached the tally of his former team-mate Alain Prost.17th March 2013, 9:43 at 9:43 am #228798matt88ParticipantIf F1 were sprint racing, then we’d have 40 minutes races. In the refuelling era drivers were accustomed to consider each lap as a qualifying lap, now and before the 90s it was a totally different business.
The rules of the game are clear, everyone knew that tyre management would have been crucial this year (as in the previous 2 seasons), so if you’re not able to set up a car that is capable of taking care of tyres, then you deserve to be below in the standings.We can then discuss if tyre management is WAY TOO important…
20th May 2012, 9:15 at 9:15 am #201535matt88Participanti am very far from the epicentre of the earthquake (150-200 km, i live near Monza) and it was unusually strong. when i woke up my bed was shaking, but here there are no important damages, unluckily there are some victims in the towns and villages closer to the centre of the quake. I don’t know if there are damages even in Modena and Maranello, but the ScuderiaFerrari twitter account doesn’t mention anything…
1st February 2012, 17:42 at 5:42 pm #191665matt88Participant@roald probably there will be a step in the nose (barely visible from the picture), hopefully not as ugly as the Catheram one…
25th October 2011, 19:30 at 7:30 pm #182537matt88ParticipantChapatongo -> Mexico -> Sport in Mexico -> F1 -> Michael Schumacher
27th August 2011, 10:26 at 10:26 am #176937matt88ParticipantI think that the higher nose is just a consequence of the imitation of the dominant design, which has clearly been Red Bull since mid-season of 2009. However, McLaren is trying something different and it’s going well, so maybe next year we can see lower noses and L-shaped sidepods…

15th August 2011, 15:54 at 3:54 pm #172704matt88Participantit was end of January 2010, and i was thirsty (literally) of F1. First tests in Jerez were approaching and so i started looking for some good F1 blog. I found an Italian one, but i saw that a lot of fresh news came from a certain “F1 Fanatic” blog, so i decided to jump directly to the original source and join this very lively community.
20th July 2011, 17:47 at 5:47 pm #174994matt88Participanti missed Hungary 2010 because i was on holiday and we had no TV. Probably i’ll miss it again for the same reason…
