Its far too early to make any sensible predictions, but given the jerez test, is no surprise people are doubting Red Bull. I think due to the mammoth success they have had, people cant comprehend the fact that they may not be the team to beat this season, a teams dominance doesn’t last forever,(Ferrari 00-04. Williams in the 90’s), having said all that, It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if come Q3 in Melbourne, Red Bull lock out the front row!

Yes, he is notorious for his anti-Hamilton comments. British media have something against this kid, i am not going to say what as it will probably breech some forum rules, but if Hamilton was of any other nationality he would be treated as a king. Jenson is loved by the media and rightly so, he’s a nice guy, word champion, but there is a stark difference the way British media pampers JB as opposed to LH. Just imagine if Lewis was still at McLaren and struggling, think of the criticism etc. he would receive.

Rosberg certainly is faster than I expected, but people get too hyped too quickly. Hamilton is not 100% with this car, and Rosberg duly is taking advantage; I think as soon as Hamilton gets on top of the car, Rosberg wont be able to match him. Take Monaco, Rosberg was much faster all weekend; Hamilton said after qualifying that he struggled to get the brakes up to temperature all weekend, but in his final Q3 run, after sector one he finally felt his brakes were fully upto to temp and surprise surprise, he went purple is S2 and S3. In conclusion, is Rosberg faster than Hamilton? Right now, yes; will it last? no.

“streaming” is 100% legal; all this is, is somebody with SKY SPORTS F1 HD,giving access to others; its like if you had the sky sports package and invited mates around to watch the F1 who didn’t have the channel; the streamer is just sharing his sky f1 channel with those that dont want to pay for it.

I’m loosing respect for ALonso, especially given in Melbourne, Mass out-qualiied him and was ahead after the first 2 stints; they then pit Massa first getting him stuck in traffic when he was on the radio screaming “keep me out”; Alonso stays out in clear air for a few laps, the pits and comes out ahed. ALonso cant beat a oompetitive team-mate like Hamilton, and when Massa finally out performs him, the team get Alonso ahead again, and now this perez story, jeez who doesnt help this guy, I just dont see how you can call him the “best on the grid”, when his team mate is not allowed to beat him. Thats why in my books Hamilton and Vettel are better than ALonso, they both have team-mates who challenge them, sorry let me rephrase that, team-mates who are allowed to challenge them. This is supposed to be racing, i as an F1 fan want to see Mass and Alonso fight out fairly on track, not sly strategies to get Alonso ahead of Massa; pathetic!!!

Ha, just saw the “push”; i’m pretty sure it was just Mark messing around, various drivers annoy others during their media interviews, Vettel always intruded Schumi’s interviews; so it was just a friendly push not a Hamilton-Massa esc push at singaore 2011!

No, Hamilton has nothing to prove nor the other 4 champions on the grid, he has already proven himself way back in 07 against the supposed “best” when he suprised Alonso. But one thing i will say is that Hamilton unfortunately lacks one weapon, consistency, you combine his raw pace and alonso’s consistency and you get Mr Unbeatable!, The frustrating thing for him is that his lack of consistency was 99% caused by his beloved Mclaren team, last year for example, every one of his 4 victories was followed by a DNF, that is a shocking lack of consistency. I for one hope Mercs provide him with a reliable car more than anything else!

Overall, Lewis has nothing to prove to himself and anyone who’s seen the sport from 07, he in my eyes anyway is the best driver on the grid, as much as you may say that status is Alonso’s, i for one can’t rank someone who as the defending double world champion got beaeten by his rookied team mate as being the “best” on the grid, dont get me wrong, Fernando is a very close 2nd on my rankings ;but one thing he will do for sure is to show everyone he is more than capable of replicating Alonso’s 2012 season this year given a half decent car.

This realistically is the only time we get to see F1 drivers in equal machinary, yes the conditions for Hamilton and Vettel are not going to be identical, but hey they are driving a reasonably priced car, not a cutting edge high tech f1 car that is sensitive to the smallest of changes in air temp, tyre pressures etc. Its annoying seeing these excuses justifying why Hamilton has possibly lapped quiker before the show has been aired, one of the spoiers is a guy claiming Hamilton smashed Vettel by more than a second (not very believable), the other is a picture with Hamilton standing next to the timing board, its an unclear picture and you can’t be sure its Hamiltons name at the top. Tommorow we’ll find out find out for sure (you’re not an f1 fan enthusiast unless you use this phrase) who is quicker given the same machinary. Weather its Hamilton or not, one thing is for sure (done it again), these two are undoubtedly the quickers over a single lap currently in F1.

It is Hamilton’s 3rd appearance, his first was back in 07 when he set his lap time, he second was in 2010 when he drove Ayrton Senna’s Mclaren but on that occassion he didn’t set a lap time due to adverse weather conditions, making this sunday his 3rd!
