Really enjoyed this circuit and hope it will remain on the calendar. The views from the observation tower were incredible and the general spirit in Austin was phenomenal. Well done, Texas.

ViewNot easy, even if you are lucky enough to have coveted paddock passes. Photographs are easier, but be prepared for a scrum at the entrance to the Paddock.

I gave it a 9 – challenging track and an exciting race. I am biased because I was there and the atmosphere was electric. Shame about the retirements though- particularly Button.

I agree with the daily […] ViewWe’ve also opted to stay in San Antonio. Whilst the circuit is obviously closer to Austin, apparently the volume of city traffic and mostly grid locked Austin road network negates any advantage of proximity.

Going to the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas 1 year, 2 months agoMy husband and I have just booked for this GP. We’re going from London with the lovely John and Linda Sinker at Motoexpress. We’ve been to several GP’s with them and are very excited about Austin – just wish it was sooner! Obviously a long way to go, so we plan to make a holiday of it.
