    No problem.

I’m sure you’ve done the research, but just in case not. If you haven’t already done so I would purchase your bus tickets on line, as it saves all the hassle of queuing when your there. As soon you’ve made your purchase the tickets are sent to you as a pdf. You know the bus goes from Estacio del Nord. The drop of point is a few…[Read more]

If you want the whole GP weekend experience I would consider camping. There are plenty of sites around the circuit within easy walking distance and the weekend is great.

    Hi,

Yes my son and I have used it for the last two years and have already booked tickets for this year. Its a really good service. There are loads of busses so the waiting time is ok. Obviously after the race on Sunday the queue can be a bit long but it moves pretty quickly. If you want any more information on booking or where the buses go from…[Read more]

In reply to: Pat Ruadh posted an update in the group Going to the Italian Grand Prix at Monza Hey guys, finally going to my first GP in Monza this year (sister lives in Milan so I’m a disgrace really) 2 questions: What can I […] View

    Hi,

I’ve been to Monza twice now and I would say if you can afford it get a seat. The problem with the GA at Monza is that the whole track runs through the park with lots of trees and this makes viewing quite difficult. Don’t get me wrong there are some good GA spots but not too many. The extra money for a seat would be well worth it.

    As far as…[Read more]

Barcelona is a great place we were there is 2012 as well. Nice track. A bit warmer than Silverstone is likely to be though. Mind you Fridays forecast looks good. Take your raincoat just in case :-)

    Tommy,
There are loads of good places to watch from, Copse or Maggotts & Becketts are really high speed corners and show how well an F1 car works or at the bottom of Vale would give you a good view of the bottom half of the track. As Saturday is qualifying day i’d not be too late getting in as otherwise the best spots will be taken. Be ready to…[Read more]

  • You’re forgetting that whilst most people do watch on the TV, if the race going fans stay away the circuits may feel the cost required to host the race is not worth paying and no venues means no racing and that means no F1.

  • The new formula seems to have been a success this year so far form the point of view of watching on the T.V therefore all seems well and good. However the issue about engine sound is all about race going fans. The […]

Sorry mate can’t answer either of those questions. There are loads of bars and food at the track and whilst it isn’t as cheap as take your own it’s not that expensive.

  • @emtheemu Firstly Monza is great, the weather the food and the whole experience. I’m sure you’ll have a great time. I loved it there in 2011 & 2012. The journey in from Milan is going to be fun, the trains get pretty busy and the shuttle buses although excellent drop you off in the middle of Monza Park with probably a 20 – 30 minute walk into the…[Read more]

  • Yes was there last year, its a great weekend. How long the walk is….. not sure as i’ve not had cause to time it but i’d guess at 20-25 mins from stand to bus stop. Don’t bet your life on that time but I don’t think i’d be miles out. The problem you may have is how many other people decide to get back to town after quali. The buses are very good…[Read more]

Not sure how long the walk is as never thought about it but I’d guess at 20-25 mins from stand to bus stop. You should get back in time for 5pm but does depend how many others decide to get back to town straight after quali. If it’s a lot although the buses are really regular you may have to wait for one, also how far have to got to go…[Read more]

Like you I’m on the bus and am sitting in grandstand L. The walk really isn’t that far. Don’t ask me in yards or miles but really it won’t be a problem.

    Ty,
10 mins walk from the bus stop is easy, and makes for a more comfortable weekend. We got even closer 2 minute walk. I purposefully booked a room as near to the pick up point as possible.
Sorry can’t help with the best way to get to and from airport as we are driving down to Spain as we did last year.

Yes if you look on Google maps there are 3 red & white buses on the corner of Career de la Diputacio and Passeig de Sant Joan, thats the place. I would recommend the service. It’s regular throughout the days and drops you within 2 minutes walk of the gate to the circuit. And as you can see the Metro station is on the roundabout at the bottom…[Read more]
