There may be a car or two rolled out for bump day. Looks like the 99 may get some action come the weekend.

2nd October 2012, 2:10 at 2:10 am #211596Mikemat5150ParticipantPocono is a 400 miler because the race is on ABC and they need to fit it in the time requirement.
Should be an interesting schedule. I’m pumped for the return of Pocono and hopefully the car puts on a good show like it did last year.
15th September 2012, 1:26 at 1:26 am #210156Mikemat5150ParticipantSo pumped for the race. My roommate’s 21st is that night so I’m going to have to go into media lock down until I can catch the race.

Great races for Kimball and Conway!

It was the full broadcast of the race on Indycar’s youtube channel.
26th June 2012, 5:27 at 5:27 am #204088Mikemat5150Participant26th June 2012, 5:27 at 5:27 am #204173Mikemat5150ParticipantI can hold out hope that Road America will be on the schedule for next year as there does seem to be some major interest from both sides. Also been hearing rumors that Phoenix will be on the schedule next year.
The 500 miler at Fontana will be cool. I’m glad they increased the length to make it a big season finale and hopefully it’ll be just as gripping as the 500 was. Same Aero package and maybe they’ll even take more downforce off.
26th June 2012, 5:25 at 5:25 am #204087Mikemat5150ParticipantA great race. A lot of drama with some of the major points contenders running into trouble. If Power can keep up his early season form the championship is his.
Being brought up as more of a road and street course fan, I must say I’m a little disappointed there aren’t more ovals after the run of those. They were pretty incredible races and hopefully fontana will follow suit.
18th June 2012, 4:52 at 4:52 am #202583Mikemat5150ParticipantLooks like it may be gaining some steam

16th June 2012, 1:27 at 1:27 am #184430Mikemat5150ParticipantIt will only be used by F1 this year but MotoGP, V8 Supercars, and American Le Mans Series all have contracts to race there in 2013 and beyond
12th June 2012, 19:15 at 7:15 pm #203790Mikemat5150ParticipantI think they used to do heat races in the old days for qualifying on Ovals.
Three races for thirty laps each should be good for the Friday fans. One of the biggest complaints about ovals has been the lack of track activity leading up to the races.
10th June 2012, 23:40 at 11:40 pm #184424Mikemat5150ParticipantChina was coming with an estimated $8 million sanctioning fee. We’ll see what happens but I’m guessing the race isn’t going to be in China. We’ll see what Bernard and Co. come up with though.
