The new intro is great. I’ll keep watching the races they have live on the BBC and fall back to Sky for the others. I just prefer the feel of the BBC coverage.

19th January 2013, 14:53 at 2:53 pm #224119moshbeardMember@f199player That’s correct, they lose a huge amount of downforce going through the tunnel at Monaco.
Why build it underground, why not just in a really remote location?
15th December 2012, 0:01 at 12:01 am #219231moshbeardMember@Joey Zyla, if that were the case then there would be absolutely no point having it (except for the cars who can get it open a fraction earlier because they have better aero, which would just make the fastest cars even harder to beat).
3rd December 2012, 12:15 at 12:15 pm #217659moshbeardMemberNot much point any one buying them now, or at least any one with decent funds to put in. Since they’d have to wait a year I think any one with real money to put into it could probably have a better car by then and their facilities aren’t worth having since you need to be in the UK unless you’ve already very well established.
29th November 2012, 11:19 at 11:19 am #216287moshbeardMemberThey’ve definitely got the people and resources to build a great car and who knows this time they might just have the innovation which puts them ahead of the rest of the field. Personally I think they’ll still be behind McLaren and Red Bull but until testing begins who knows.
27th November 2012, 10:20 at 10:20 am #215887moshbeardMemberI think Massa’s recent form will set him up well for 2013 but his success depends on how good the Ferrari is. If they produce the fastest car on the grid then we could see Ferrari 1-2s all year long and he’ll get loads of podiums and loads of points, it’s also possible they’ll produce their worst car in recent memory and fail to get a single podium all year.
19th November 2012, 11:11 at 11:11 am #215260moshbeardMemberIf there’s going to be a ‘Petrov’ in the last race then it’ll need to be reversed so Vettel gets stuck behind someone and Alonso goes on to win.
Of course that’s pretty unlikely since Vettel will most likely be on pole in the first place and with DRS it’d be harder for someone to hold him off.
I think if Vettel doesn’t win the title then it can only be because of mechanical failure or a crash. There’s no way Alonso can finish far enough ahead of Vettel at this stage of the season without something going very wrong for Vettel and Alonso getting a bit of luck/
30th October 2012, 10:37 at 10:37 am #213965moshbeardMemberIt’s doable, it seems morel likely Vettel will win but Alonso could definitely do it. He’ll need a bit of luck to help him on his way but it’s happened plenty of times before.
It’s completely possibly that Vettel could DNF the last three races with a bit of mechanical trouble, a knock from another driver and a mistake that leaves him in a wall.
5th October 2012, 12:04 at 12:04 pm #211744moshbeardMemberIt’s not impossible, the cars ahead of him could have a massive pile up or something, but realistically it’s very unlikely.
3rd October 2012, 14:08 at 2:08 pm #211627moshbeardMemberI’ve never really supported particular teams or drivers, I just like F1 in general. There are teams I prefer, I feel a certain sense of loyalty to Williams and McLaren because I’m British and I’ve always backed British drivers but never really tied myself to any team or driver.
23rd July 2012, 12:03 at 12:03 pm #206101moshbeardMember1997, first time I got up in the middle of the night to watch the Australian GP. I would have been 9 at the time and I’d watched as long as I can remember but only really because my dad watched, Hill winning in 1996 got me much more interested so when 1997 kicked off I was completely into it. I drifted away from F1 in the mid-2000s but in recent years I got back in.
25th May 2012, 10:02 at 10:02 am #201508moshbeardMemberI’m giving it a go but I know I’m not good enough to rank highly so as long as I comfortably beat Gold then I’m happy.
The cars are going to come over to GT5 at a later date, probably when the GT Academy finishes.
15th May 2012, 14:45 at 2:45 pm #201822moshbeardMemberThe rules have changed so that the teams have to built separate cars and the such. That’s why Torro Rosso are becoming less useful to RB except for driver development.
I think Ferrari basically want a third car for testing during race weekends and to put Valentino Rossi in.
14th May 2012, 15:51 at 3:51 pm #201779moshbeardMemberIt’s definitely good for F1 to have some variety in the results. Not only does it keep it interesting but it shows to potential teams and investors that there’s a chance of success even if you’re not in the current big four.
Potential manufacturers will see that maybe they can have success unlike Toyota and Honda as it’s become more difficult for the established top teams to hold on to their superiority. I for one would certainly like to see someone like Audi take the place of a team like HRT.
The tyres don’t seem anywhere near as random as last year, there are no drivers suddenly sliding around like they’re on ice like in the first half of last season.
