This is the official site: http://www.circuitgillesvilleneuve.ca
There are no really bad grandstand seats, and I have sat in all of them for at least one session over the years.
The grandstands at the “Senna S” (11, 12) and at the hairpin (15, 21, 24) are where the most action takes place. My personal favorite is 24 and right across, 15, is usually all red with Ferrari fans.
I don’t see them on the site now, but they used to offer ticket packages with different grandstands for each of the three days. I used to exchange tickets on Friday and Saturday with people leaving the site early so I could watch the support races from different seats.
If you buy tickets one year, you get “first dibs” on the same seats for the next year, but I’m not sure when they release those that are not renewing.8th June 2015, 17:25 at 5:25 pm #299783

Figured I should let everyone know my longshot paid off and I was given a ticket for tomorrow’s free practice sessions by another F1Fanatic reader.
Have a great race everyone!27th May 2015, 17:22 at 5:22 pm #299119
This is a long shot, but… If anyone has a ticket for Friday that will be going to waste because you cannot attend, I’d be more than happy to fill your seat.
I’ve attended 9 times since 1996, from general admission to the Mercedes Elite Loge, and have always enjoyed myself — so much that I’d go on just on Friday than not at all.
Thanks and have a great race!12th August 2014, 20:30 at 8:30 pm #270329
Maldonado gets paid? Or it’s some tit-for-tat tied to sponsorship?29th June 2012, 15:31 at 3:31 pm #204103
@BerdMaylander, thanks for finding the cached interview. If someone’s taking bets on who got the interview removed, I’ll bet on Ferrari/Marlboro
Q: Will we see all 12 teams surviving the foreseeable future, or will the idea of third cars return?
FW: Formula One is very expensive. To keep a team running is always a struggle – finding sponsors, finding funds – for almost every team except probably Ferrari, but they have Marlboro in something that is called subliminal advertising in marketing terms. And even if the FIA say you can’t do it, they can’t prove it. (smiles)28th June 2012, 21:18 at 9:18 pm #204097
It’s gone! I remember seeing the interview on the front page, but didn’t read it at the time. Now the interview is nowhere to be found!23rd September 2010, 18:30 at 6:30 pm #145304
India had 7 years to get ready for the Commonwealth Games.
The Grand Prix was initially announced in June 2007 for this season, but in September 2008, it was pushed to 2011.
I have have doubts we’ll see them racing in India next year.
