Yes, depending on your country and subscription (F1TV or F1TV-pro), you can watch full race live with multiple camera angles. Most places can watch full replay “shortly” after the race (delays also depend on country).
My site (https://x1z.net/) is an index of the F1TV site that allows to search for content from the archive (ie, 2017 and before). It does index videos from this year, but the main purpose is to make it easy to find “classic” content… such as all the videos for a driver’s podiums (search by driver).

List only includes the 158 rated pre-2018 races that have either the full race or highlights video available in the F1TV Archive.I’ve added the RaceFans ratings for 43 races that appear on the Top 100 and have the full race video (and the one highlights that it applies to, 2009 Belgian GP).

There is commentary, it just is not on by default — click on the headphone icon and select a language (if there’s more than one).
Also, the archive year is drop-down box and you can select any year that F1 has been in existence, but the oldest race I found is 1997 Hungary.
And if you select “shows” (top choice from archive drop down menu), there are several “Legend of F1” documentaries on past stars including Senna, Stewart, Mansell, and many more.
I don’t even have the “pro” version (not available in Canada), but I find the content great but the site navigation and layout leaving much to be desired.Anyone who was an F1 Access subscriber is automatically converted to F1 TV (non-Pro) which gives you access to archive footage, which consists full races and some documentaries.
There’s page on the site that lists all countries and which features are available, including when the current race replay becomes available (and support races).

I posted the same thing here a couple years ago and a follow F1Fanatic came through and I got to attend the rain-soaked Friday practice… that’s the year airplanes skidded off the runway at the airport.<br />
Still, the miserable weather and getting soaked to my underwear was worth it just to see and hear the cars up close.</p>

Last year, I posted in the 2015 thread seeking a Friday ticket that would have otherwise gone to waste. Someone came through and I got to attend the deluge (it rained so hard that day, planes skidded off the runway at the airport).
So I’m trying again this year. If anyone has a ticket that would otherwise go unused for Friday (or any day for that matter), please let me know!

There are no really bad grandstand seats, and I have sat in all of them for at least one session over the years.
The grandstands at the “Senna S” (11, 12) and at the hairpin (15, 21, 24) are where the most action takes place. My personal favorite is 24 and right across, 15, is usually all red with Ferrari fans.
I don’t see them on the site now, but they used to offer ticket packages with different grandstands for each of the three days. I used to exchange tickets on Friday and Saturday with people leaving the site early so I could watch the support races from different seats.
If you buy tickets one year, you get “first dibs” on the same seats for the next year, but I’m not sure when they release those that are not renewing.
