Does anyone know from past experience what the queues are like for ticket collection on the day? My father has decided to come along but its too late to get the tickets delivered.

Thanks @jane Smith great advice. Glad to hear there is opportunity to wander and still see the action. Might have check on the step stool beforehand I think. Got myself a radio app for my iPhone, whats the best station to tune in to? Won’t be boozing I’m afraid I’m driving down and back on the day as this was the only way I could do it, so no fear of glass bottles!

Just booked my GA ticket for my first ever F1 race! Is it possible to walk around from spot to spot and still get a reasonable view? Since its my first time I really want to see the action from 2/3 spots if I can. Was thinking of taking a foldable step stool to aid viewing is this allowed?
