hi nick, i am also going to the spanish gp 2012, and i am going on my own as well. i am staying at a hotel near a golf course which is about 30 minutes far from track. me together with my family like quiet places so i wouldn’t recomend it for you if you like staying in busy cities. the hotel is 4 star and good priced, with excellent views and not far away. we are also hiring a car throughout the trip. -
i too am attending the weekend alone camping next to the circuit! the camping pitch includes a car! i have heard that it doesnt matter how many people or tents are on a pitch (within reason). i dont have a car and my tent is pretty small so we could share a pitch! So if this sounds like an option for yourself or you have any further questions give me shout!
