Only article I’ve seen on this is Mateschitz refuting the rumour, what other sources do you have?
Audi have continually denied any interest in F1 and their motorsports programs have always tried to maintain a road-relevance (Quattro, TDI) so short of an e-tron hybrid link, which they already achieve through their WEC program I don’t see why they would bother.
Also, why would Red Bull sell the Milton Keynes site they’ve invested millions in just to buy another facility they’d then need to invest more in. Makes no sense either.

Also might explain why it suddenly disappeared from supposedly being in Gran Turismo 6.

Game Stock Car, absolutely fantastic, my current favourite, I love the Mini Cooper and F3 car in it.
Richard Burns Rally, pretty ancient now but leagues ahead of any other rally game I’ve ever played.
And watching the development of Assetto Corsa with great interest.

I think I’m among the minority who barely notices stuff like this as I find single seats both aesthetically unappealing and unattractive from and engineering standpoint too.
The wishbones and big tyres are like the exposed ribs and bloated organs of some dead creature. An F1 car is like a decomposing LMP.

Me, for one. I’m sure many crashes have been averted by the team knowing a tyre was losing pressure or a brake disc was overheating.
Besides, even if the teams don’t get it in real time they’ll just have it stored on the car and download it all when the car comes in.

Of course it’s pointless, as the most someone will know is a few details regarding one team. But it’s interesting to talk about nevertheless.

Hence what seems to have been work by RB in this direction, the RB9 winning in Canada, Belgium and Italy, as they reduce their reliance on exhaust derived downforce.

I know a few guys doing F1 related topics, but they’re under engineering in general, mostly aerodynamics. They just happen to be in on a topic applicable to F1 and motorsports in general.

Every driver wants to win, I’m sure Max Chilton would rather be at the sharp end than dawdling around at the back.
And Hamilton has been competitive the past 5 years, even when the car has not. He hasn’t gone a season without a win and has a record better than some entire teams.
He, like a lot of fans, is wrapped up in some romantic notion of F1 being a drivers’ contest, when it’s not. It’s an engineering competition. Arguably, it has more in common with something like the JSF or ATF programs than a spec motorsport series.
