Yes they’re the same for each team but they’re still crap. Like Keith said, no driver used it for more than 7 laps in the Chinese GP. SEVEN!

For sure it’s a massive conspiracy.

I can only imagine the response if Hamilton had been the driver who called him that. The internet would possibly collapse under all the vitriol.

Maldonado going off the track then veering back into Hamilton’s car was Hamilton’s fault?
-
Ken commented on the post, 2012 Hungarian Grand Prix grid 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Hamilton was the only driver with two sets of fresh primes going into Q3 seeing as he PRESERVED an extra set by using only mediums in Q1 which nobody else could do. How this becomes a basis for criticism is beyond me.

Both Vettel and Lewis pulled it out of the bag there. Lewis wrestled that car and dragged it into 2nd, but hats off to Vettel, what a lap!

Thanks @keithcollantine
That strikes me as an unreliable way of doing it though. Unless it comes through their headsets.

Ken commented on the post, Valencia also has DRS zone reduction 11 months ago
The rules state that DRS can only be used if the driver is 1 second, or less, behind another driver at the DRS detection zone. Okay, my question is, how does the driver know he is within that 1 second gap? Is it […]

This is a very mean-spirited exercise.

Ken Mulumbi commented on the post, McLaren’s mistake costs Hamilton too dearly 1 year ago
but as we have distinctive drivers’ and constructors’ championship I think it would be useful to distinguish between a driver error and a constructor error
This is a very good point and something you rarely see discussed.

Ken Mulumbi commented on the post, McLaren’s mistake costs Hamilton too dearly 1 year ago
“I hope after this Mclaren will not make that mistake again.”
Should individual incidents be judged on their own merits or should previous incidents have an effect on the steward’s thinking?

Ken Mulumbi commented on the post, McLaren’s mistake costs Hamilton too dearly 1 year ago
The car did not fail scrutineering. They were able to collect the amount of fuel they needed for testing. The rule they broke was the one that states that the car should get back to the pits under its own power.

Is the penalty for breaking the “drive back under own power” rule specified anywhere in the regulations? Going through the hundreds of comments yesterday there seemed to be a consensus that the penalty is […]

You’re not alone, I found it dissapointing too. A lot of people did. I was really looking forward to Q3. But at least a couple of drivers went for it.

Ken Mulumbi commented on the post, 2012 Spanish Grand Prix grid 1 year ago
Who says that he had less fuel than the others? Is that the only reason a car might stop on track? Don’t jump to conclusions based solely on your irrational hatred of a driver or team.
Calm down, these are […]

Ken Mulumbi commented on the post, Hamilton and Maldonado share the front row in Spain 1 year ago
He has a point, he just didn’t articulate it well. When top drivers are doing sight-seeing laps in what is supposed to be the most intense qualifying session because they want to preserve tyres then surely that’s […]
