Max Jacobson commented on the post, Brawn: Team orders ‘against my sporting nature’ 1 month, 1 week ago
@nemo87 – then again, why should Nico have to lose out on a podium because of a balls-up on Lewis’ side of the garage? I think that’s more unjust than if he’d been allowed to overtake.

+1.
It’s like Ferrari and Renault can’t build a V6 or will not provide any technical support to teams they supply.
I’m sick and tired of their overconfidence.

@nemo87 I think they said they weren’t bothered abotu exploring their own engines. If Mercedes aren’t keen with McLaren using their engines they may opt for PURE.

@nemo87 A DTM game would have three cars and nine tracks – think they’d need to offer a bit more than that to get the punters in!

Prisoner Monkeys commented on the post, McLaren waiting for “clarity” on Mercedes DRS 1 year, 1 month ago
@nemo87 – Because Christian Horner wants the FIA and/or Mercedes to reveal exactly how the front wing F-duct works. That way, Red Bull can built their own version faster and better than if they had tried to start […]

Prisoner Monkeys commented on the post, Which of Paul Ricard’s 167 tracks should F1 use? 1 year, 1 month ago
@nemo87 – Gravel traps haven’t been used for years. There might be the odd gravel trap here and there, but there are none hard up against the circuit the way they used to. The reason is because when a car hits a […]

@nemo87 – The tarmac run-off areas are actually tarmac with a highly-abrasive compound in them. Blue ones cause moderate wear, whist the red zones can strip tyres away in moments.

F1 Games 1 year, 1 month ago@nemo87 – But that just makes the game too easy. The idea behind career mode is that you work your way up from the back of the grid to the front. Stating career mode in the best car just wipes out 75% of the game. […]

@nemo87 it’s still a safe choice for McLaren. Since 2010 they’ve used the same nose; and so they’re choosing a path they’ve already understood. A stepped nose would have been unknown territory to them.

@nemo87 It’s not that unbelievable if you think about it. Button was all over Suzuka, even throughout practice and with those 2 generous straights in Korea it’s not really a surprise that Vettel might feel more […]
