@newdecade don’t forget Button is so opportunistic when disaster struck others. Win in Australia, Spa (after nutcase) and Brazil (after Lewis and Hulk hit). You can see it all the other way back: That if there […]

Remember he only got to his position of king of the sport at Ferrari by doing the hard work, basically driving fast
@newdecade . Hard work and being fast are prerequisites for any f1 driver. The privileges he […]

Going to the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas 5 months, 2 weeks ago@midgeman, @joac21, @newdecade – Some great pictures from all of you there! Looks like there’s some really good vantage points at the Circuit of the Americas. I particularly like the one of the P34.

@newdecade Yup, I thought that one was far more obvious than this one Webber has been done for. As @stefmeister below says, Webber was more or less forced off-track by Kobayashi too, whereas Massa had more of a choice.

@newdecade try thinking again and you might find the answer. And it’s no different to other times in F1.
They basically struggled to get the softs up to temperature, so as Vettel was on warm tyres (that were […]

@newdecade I think we need to go a little further before we can call it random silliness. There’s always a development race to gain the latest innovation, this year the latest innovation is “a comprehensive […]

Easy for him to say, he almost never has to worry about improving his position!
He is certinally having to worry about it this year. I enjoy to see how a driver reacts in new/different […]

But why is Vettel the main benefactor then? What did he win it on in 2010? Question also goes to @newdecade .

@newdecade For the sake of fairness, let’s look at it both ways.
If those who voted 1/10 hadn’t voted, the average would be 7.4/10.
If we assume that the missing 21% of voters were similarly inclined to […]
