No idea why people are crying so much. If new tyres are durable and one team starts dominating, then people will again complain that F1 is boring.

I think last time qualifying was postponed to raceday was Japanese GP 2007 or 08 @ Fuji. It also happened during 2004 race.

I don’t know how stewards give 3 place penalty when clearly rules state its should be 5 or 10 place penalty.

Of course numbskulls Vettel’s retirement was not due to tyre failure but rather due to suspension and wishbone damage caused due to tyre failure.
