Obi-Spa Kenobi commented on the post, Hamilton believes title win is ‘not impossible’ 6 days, 11 hours ago
Mathematically speaking, yes perhaps Merc could win, but back here in reality it’s about as likely as Schumi coming back out of retirement, again.
The air must get stuffy in that helmet because LH really likes […]

Obi-Spa Kenobi commented on the post, Brawn: Mercedes need to improve race pace 1 month, 2 weeks ago
I’m against Long Beach simply because Los Angeles is a crappy city. After Las Vegas, it stands for everything wrong with American society. And it’s hot, over populated and over polluted.
They should go back to […]

+1
GREAT Post. This is why I keep coming back to your site.If Kobayashi can’t get a ride back in F1 (where is he now anyway?) I wouldn’t mind seeing him in Indy.

He drove the proposed New Jersey/New York City track as well, also before it was confirmed…and look how that turned out.

I see a lot of 90 degree turns at Sochi.

Man, those are mostly fugly. Good graphic design is completely lost here. There’s something to be said of the simple designs of the 70′s/80′s.

“Can I just say the sport wants MASSIVE rear tyres and lots of sliding, not “technical opportunity”.”
YES YES YES

BUT Austin isn’t as far, and it would be a boon for the US crowd, a market F1 needs.

It’s 70 degrees F (21c) in Austin right now….

Although the Caterham looks nice, it reminds me of a John Deere tractor.

Obi-Spa Kenobi commented on the post, Ecclestone: HRT buyers Scorpion “too late” for 2013 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I agree with you @craig-o. Even after that incident his engineer acknowledged that Kimi doesn’t like radio chatter. I mean really, if you’re driving at 200mph I would think a little quiet so you can concentrate is […]

I’ve been getting really tired of that quote getting over played. But you guys did a decent job. Kudos!

Obi-Spa Kenobi commented on the post, New tyres ‘less fundamental to performance’ – Button 5 months ago
Agreed. It seems naive to think that they won’t be a factor. It’s the one metric they can’t control, and no amount of virtual testing can account for them.

Obi-Spa Kenobi commented on the post, “Vettel is a worthy champion”, says Alonso 6 months, 1 week ago
Personally I can’t put him up there with the Senna’s or Schumi’s. Not yet at least. Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy, but like many I feel his car (aka Newey) is a too big a factor to single him out.
Only […]

Obi-Spa Kenobi commented on the post, Top ten passes of 2012: Vote for the best 6 months, 1 week ago
I’m a Kimi fan for sure, and both his moves on Schumi are notable. But Massa’s overtake on Senna is a lesson in car control in tight quarters. So my vote goes there.

Obi-Spa Kenobi commented on the post, Schumacher’s comeback was a mistake – Ecclestone 6 months, 2 weeks ago
Bernie needs to stop talking and retire himself. Of course Shumi wouldn’t have returned if he thought he wouldn’t have a chance. But he was teaming up with Brawn and a factory team. There’s nothing there that […]

I’m not particularly a Hamilton fan, but I’ll be curious to see what he and Mercedes can do with the car in the off-season and what he can do with it next year. It will be interesting to see his reactions if the […]
