I keep reading this site like an addict in a relapse. Add to that wtf1.co.uk, espnf1, other Facebook accounts related to F1 and some racing games, and I manage to survive until Spa.11th July 2017, 18:24 at 6:24 pm #345844
Mercedes : Bottas manages to finish the season ahead of Lewis. Lewis leaves to…
Ferrari: Seb gets the WDC, Kimi leaves and Lewis takes his place, lured by Ferrari’s potential.
Red Bull: Ric stays. Max gets sick and tired of his bad luck. Mercedes gets him. Red Bull gets Sainz (at last!!)
Williams: Massa retires. They need a new experienced driver. Grosjean gets in, tired of Haas brakes. Stroll stays.
Renault: Hulk stays. Palmer is out. Kubica returns (cross fingers).
Force India: same line-up.
Haas: Magnussen is joined by Palmer (too much money to be ignored).
McLaren: (Hopefully) Honda starts getting more performance and endurance. Regularly in the points. Alonso $tay$. Vandoorne too.
Toro Rosso: Gasly arrives. Kvyat is out. They hire any new rookie they find interesting.
Sauber: Ericsson is out. Vandoorne is joined by a new rookie, or maybe Giovinazzi.
* all my silly prediction doesn’t consider how strong contracts actually are.29th April 2017, 23:19 at 11:19 pm #341392
I hate when Crofty starts shaking his voice and saying how exciting a DRS pass has been. But it’s okay, and even sounds genuine, whenever a race has a really exciting moment (such as Ocon, Hulk and Alo going together in Australia).30th January 2017, 20:55 at 8:55 pm #334626
@damon assuming cars can really pull out a big gap AND that the grid remains so one-sided, yes, it would end up with only the two Mercs going for it in the end, or Mercs and RBs. But the Ferrari vs Williams vs Force India battle would prove thrilling. At least in my opinion. Well, of course you can disagree, because to make my humble proposal be heard and approved by FIA, there is a better chance to for me to find a unicorn :P4th January 2017, 22:31 at 10:31 pm #334189
About F1, I hope Pirelli doesn’t mess their tyres again. I’m so fed up with tyres that explode as soon as the driver really tries to push.
And about this site, @keithcollantine, what happened to that “+1” button that appeared here as a beta, for I think a couple of days? Probably in that way we could also choose the COTD.15th October 2016, 3:05 at 3:05 am #330553
I saw people can include any pass from any year, so I choose Kimi on Fisichella in Japan, 2005.
And Vettel on Ricciardo last week reminded me of that awesome pass of Alonso on Schumacher, in the same race.
What a race!!!10th August 2016, 6:19 at 6:19 am #326542
Hard for me to remember every single one on every single race, but to me, Ricciardo is the one who shows to be the best at the moment to get as much as he can from the car. But Verstappen has started to make him work for his salary harder. And that’s good for us fans.
2. Then Hamilton for not giving up, despite the demolition Rosberg gave him at the beginning of the year, especially at the starts.
3. Max. Needless to say why.
4.Sainz for showing he could be in a top team as well, and making Kvyat look so unskilled in contrast.
5.Alonso for showing he deserves a Honda which fights for wins.
6.My hero Vettel comes next, part unlucky, part nervous and bad-tempered sometime, as that last lap chasing Hamilton and losing control, spinning. I really hope he can bounce back. But how to forget his starts in Australia and Canada. Please Ferrari, give him the tool he needs and deserves, and stop spoiling his races.
7. Button has shown he is still a safe pair of hands, but needs to be a match to Alonso.29th March 2016, 23:02 at 11:02 pm #316188
@azulio so every 2 laps times are wiped out? Tyres won’t get any faster, just slower. Even if it worked as a hectic method to keep qualifying alive, it would result contradictory to have a pole sitter with slower times than somebody who was dropped in 12th place, so to speak. How are the laps measured, respect to whom I mean? What if the guy who was running 1st decides to go at SC speeds on the second lap, to save tyres. What would be the referencial lap then? We might end up watching a fast “quali” lap, then cars going very slow because the second lap doesn’t count, right? they could try to improve the lap time on the second lap, but the clocks would get all our attention.
You say pits are banned, but what about a car crashing, so quali continues? Are cars supposed to stay out?
I don’t know, so many more questions already.
And don’t get me started about sponsors wanting their 5 min break for TV ads.27th January 2016, 16:11 at 4:11 pm #311845
@ambroserpm Maybe more than CGI, they use the advantage of having still cameras, so they just let Seb go, then release the container a minute later and with a couple of computer’s tweaks they put it together.27th January 2016, 4:36 at 4:36 am #311834

Well, this site is good, but if I could add a couple of things, they would be:
COTD based on a “thumbs up” system, which only users could click.
Return to the old version of graphics, where you could usually select some drivers.
Return the “report comment” button.
And what about DOTW giving us the chance to rank 3 drivers? It would stop the “pity vote” some users usually mention5th November 2015, 8:29 at 8:29 am #308546
Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil… nah they were just mediocre.
As a nightmare lineup, I would pick Narain and Maldo.30th September 2015, 14:07 at 2:07 pm #30641125th September 2015, 2:23 at 2:23 am #305931
Vettel: When his car got on fire in Korea 2010. Honestly, that day I thought his WDC challenge was over.
Hamilton: When he got stuck in China 2007 on that tiny piece of gravel. He would have been champion easily without that thing.28th August 2015, 16:08 at 4:08 pm #303905
@girts But I never said they are less worthy. You have to admit some of them have occurred just for plain luck, though. I know it’s hard sometimes to climb to second, but sometimes a crash takes the two leaders out, as hulk and hamilton in Brazil 2012 or the two red bulls in Turkey 2010.
