Hill’s aerobatics on Friday and deteriorating track conditions on Saturday meant he could only manage fifth.
I believe ‘fifth’ should say ‘second’.
When Schumacher last saw the chequered flag four weeks […]

In his last 6 Singapore visits, Hamilton has managed 2 DNFs, 2 5th places, and 2 wins.
First race since China in which Rosberg hasn’t led a lap. Curiously, the only 3 races this season which Rosberg hasn’t led […]

Massa has scored more points at Monza than at any other venue. After no points in his first 5 visits, in his last 6 visits he has managed 2 each of 3rd, 4th and 6th.
First mechanical DNF for Ferrari this year […]
Spa is the first track that Ricciardo has scored more than 25 points at.
Raikkonen’s 1000th point.

Missing a race at the Hockenheimring, where their Ford V8-powered car would likely be out-gunned by the V12 Ferraris and V10 Williams-Renaults, would be preferable to missing a race later in the season at a track […]

M Schumacher in Canada 1998 won despite a stop-go penalty for taking Frentzen out of the race.
Raikkonen in Japan 2005 had an engine change, although he was bizarrely not moved back on the grid as he qualified 17th ahead only of 3 drivers who did not set a time, and he was allowed to start ahead of them.

In every race so far this season, Chilton has both started and finished in an odd-numbered position.

How exactly did Barrichello register a time of nearly 15 minutes in Q1? The lap on which he had his crash shouldn’t count at all (due to the red flag) even if his wrecked car was carried across the start/finish […]
This is not the first time a race has had its final lap voided – not only the various red-flagged races, but also Canada 1995, which according to Wikipedia had its result declared at the end of lap 68 of 69 due to […]
