A hint: these are the 4 most recent drivers (to date) to have suffered a certain fate. They are certainly not the only drivers to have done so.

1st June 2019, 22:41 at 10:41 pm #396386paulgilbParticipantComplete this sequence: Raikkonen, Fisichella, Vettel, …?
31st May 2019, 23:03 at 11:03 pm #396347paulgilbParticipantFernando Alonso (winners of World Championship races at Fuji Speedway)?
18th April 2019, 22:52 at 10:52 pm #392475paulgilbParticipantMy guess:
7 Alain Prost (in 1984)
These are occasions where a driver won more races than that season’s World Champion. In other instances of 6+ victories (e.g. Prost in 1988, Raikkonen in 2005, Schumacher in 2006), the champion also won the same number, if not more, races.
If this is correct, somebody else can set the next question.

Possibly even include an indication of which tyres everybody is on and how many laps they have done on them (a coloured number is sufficient for this).

The answer to my question was Stirling Moss (drivers to have won races with 2, 3, 4, and 5 different constructors).

For anyone who still wants to guess my intended answer, I will give the hint that it is to do with race victories.
20th December 2017, 21:53 at 9:53 pm #357452paulgilbParticipantHint: there are multiple drivers who could fit the first 3 spots in the sequence, however there is only one correct option for the 4th spot.
15th December 2017, 22:47 at 10:47 pm #357417paulgilbParticipantAll those drivers managed those number of victories without ever managing a pole position (Irvine’s 4 is a record, tied with Bruce McLaren).
My sequence: Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Alain Prost, …?
14th December 2017, 22:40 at 10:40 pm #357413paulgilbParticipantEddie Irvine? Drivers with 1, 2, 3, and 4 victories (to date).
18th September 2017, 22:39 at 10:39 pm #350417paulgilbParticipantMonaco 1996 went over the 2-hour limit as well.
Interestingly, the rules regarding the 2-hour limit do seem to have changed in recent years. Previously, if the 2-hour limit was reached, the lap that the race leader was on at that moment would be the last one. But yesterday, after the clock hit 0:00, Hamilton completed the lap he was on (he had just started it) and then one further lap (I have checked the current rules, and this is correct). I’m guessing this rule change came about as under the previous rules a driver may be uncertain if he has finished the race or not when he crosses the line.
