In general, you gain the most time the earlier you can get on the throttle out of a corner. Without sacrificing corner entry speed.

Did this not happen to alonso either last year or 2010. And then he hitched a ride from Webber? Does anyone remember which race weekend it was and where? And I don’t believe Alonso was penalized. Was the rule made after this?

I’m no tyre expert but from my understanding. If they have more conservative tires, the tires would not be as soft as they are now meaning the grip levels would be less as well they would probably be slower […]
