All we have lost, and we could`nt lose Eddie Jordan.27th July 2010, 20:51 at 8:51 pm #135927
He gets worse as time goes on, not better. He has not got a clue, why shout AND HERE IS DE LA ROSA IN TO THE PITS! as if its a big event, who cares about that ? It has been commented on that the MARK WEBBER`S GONE RIGHT UP THERE was a ridiculous comment, well obviously the BBC have no clue either, because they keep on using it in montages in every programme since ! Please BBC get a grip, and get rid of him. They thought they were doing the right thing in putting someone new in instead of taking JA on, but have got it horribly wrong.4th July 2010, 22:56 at 10:56 pm #135900
Macca, I feel for you, but the fact is we do live in the UK, we pay our TV License to the BBC and I think we deserve better from them than JL. This must be a case of “Its not what you know, its who you know”, surely ? I thought if you were rubbish at your job you got fired ?
I would rather put up with the adverts and go back to James Allen on ITV than listen to JL droning on and making no sense. Everyone praises the BBC coverage, and yea, the content is good, the red button coverage of free practice is great, but patchy, and not having ad breaks is obviously a good thing, but there is vast room for improvement with some of the people. Crofty, Ant and Holly are great on the radio coverage, and Brundle and Kravitz are great on the tv coverage, but JL and EJ both just talk cringeworthy garbage and should be sacked, I like DC but I do not think his employment by Red Bull is compatible with his role as a supposedly impartial pundit, I like Jake but he tries to be a bit too funny a bit too often.
Anyway, looking forward to Silverstone, and as soon as they hand over to the commentary box its over to 5 Live for me, I miss hearing what Brundle has to say, but I cant listen to Legard any more.4th July 2010, 15:46 at 3:46 pm #135894

He is ridiculous. His commentary is irritating, and he gets so many things wrong. He spoils the sport for me.
He makes too many mistakes to remember, but did anyone hear the lunacy at Monaco ? We were looking at the onboard shot in the safety car, and he said something like:
“There`s Bernd Maylander there, in the right-hand drive Mercedes safety car, no sorry the left hand drive safety car, its the left-hand drive safety car at these european events”
I mean, WHAT ????? I don
t know how Brundle doesnt end up saying, what the
