Ivano commented on the post, FIA calls Mercedes to Tribunal over test and dismisses case against Ferrari 1 week, 6 days ago
Very interesting point there.
And this is where the ban might get political, especially as right afterwards it’s the German GP. Perhaps they’ll drag the trial till after then, so if it’s ban, it […]

As I can see your point, I think the majority of fans are between Ferrari and McLaren, also Lewis isn’t half of the sport, maybe an eighth of the fanbase considering Alonso, Vettel, Kimi, Jenson, […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Vettel: “You don’t want any gifts” 1 month, 3 weeks ago
@philereid – it’s precisely because I don’t agree with the use of them that I support disobedience: an F1 driver is like a wild animal, you shouldn’t try and cage it.
Purely from a fans perspective, I couldn’t […]

I saw a short addition to the Racing engineering tech file on the cars, where they mentioned it actually means “setting 21″ on the Multi-map switch on the steering wheel of the Red Bull @aseixas, @philereid, <a href='http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/members/hellotraverse/' […]

@philereid Looks good! I’d like to see some blue on there as well but that red is certainly vivid enough.

@philereid – Yeah, it’s a little too tight. You’ve also got places where the circuit would have cars coming at each other head-on with no room for run-off areas.

@jimbobian @philereid It’s actually the least number of laps which exceeds a distance of 305km.
Here’s some more details from an earlier YQA:

arijitmaniac commented on the post, Should F1 race venues be rotated? 1 year, 2 months ago
@philereid Excellent idea!!
Just imagine all the cars getting squeezed into the Bus Stop chicane at Spa or Casino Triangle at Suzuka… Or even a first lap battle on the parabolica at monza, Eau rouge going […] -
BasCB commented on the post, Should F1 race venues be rotated? 1 year, 2 months ago
Genuinely thought ‘rotation’ meant running the race in reverse, which would also be interesting
now that would be something @philereid
I voted ‘No’, because of the reasons for alternation ultimately boil down […]
