@pjtierney I think that’s why I like it so much. Too bad all the sponsors’ logos can’t be in Helvetica! ;-)

@pjtierney Yeah, I think it’s about time to give that a rest. Then again, the team isn’t exactly known for doing that. (See also: annoyingly frequent references to ice cream.)

@pjtierney interesting point. Minardi have been gone for the same length of time but have 2 former drivers still in the sport (and racing at the front end too).

Keith Collantine commented on the post, German GP moved earlier for extra race in 2013 5 months, 1 week ago
@pjtierney I believe it was as of July last year, and I don’t think it or the regulations have changed sufficiently in the meantime to mean that’s no longer the case. Helmut Marko has said recently it is still FIA Grade 1.

Fer no.65 commented on the post, Two DRS zones per track necessary for 2013 – Lowe 5 months, 4 weeks ago
@pjtierney that’s harder than it looks. Whatever way they find to limit the cars’ downforce, teams will still get round it, thus spoiling the effect.
How many times they’ve tried to fix the problem? They raised […]

@prisoner-monkeys
@pjtierney makes a perfectly valid point (that doesn’t warrant a sarcastic response). Admittedly the teams build the cars to the rules, but the FIA would do well to look into future car regs […] -

I think that is a very good choice @PJtierney, he did do his best to avoid any clashes, and we saw a nice battle between him and Alonso before his car gave up.

F1 7 months, 3 weeks agoI would have done the same layout as @pjtierney. The only changes iI woud make would have been:
- At T16, that kink wouldn’t be there.
- The last chicane would have been faster (less than 90 degrees).
-And I […] -

I think Maldonado’s retirement obscured the fact that he’d already majorly damaged his race chances by then. He was on a three stop strategy, and had absolutely destroyed the Super […]

Agreed. I thought Pastor was going really well yesterday. His duel with Alonso was a classic, tough but very fair. I mean, this guys has all the qualities to become a top driver, but the problem […]

I think its telling that apart from the few things @pjtierney mentions the FOM race edit showed us only the pitstops and the gridgirls as being of interest. Sums up the race nicely then.
