Speaking of shameless plugs, here’s another for the club :)
Really Rubbish Racing’s 16 season of console action features the wild and wonderful cars of Super GT, the fastest, most agile touring cars in the world.
Across seven weeks, we’ll be taking these mighty machines to many iconic locations, both of real world motorsport and Gran Turismo itself. Legendary circuits such as Suzuka, Brands Hatch and Mount Panorama combined with GT classics like High Speed Ring and Trial Mountain are sure to make this a season to remember.
The club was originally created here on F1Fanatic, and many F1F members have raced with us over the years.
If you’re up for some good, clean racing with a bunch of like-minded motorsport fans, head on over here and sign up!3rd June 2013, 19:43 at 7:43 pm #218619
Myself and @Ajokay went to this yesterday, as you can tell from his videos above it was a good experience.
What I was most surprised by was the levels of access that we had for our £20 tickets. You could pretty much go everywhere and view the action from any vantage point. Towards the end we watched the cars from the balcony of the Silverstone Wing:
I had the same view of last year’s F1 race from there, but the difference was that that time it required paddock Club access (which I was fortunate to have gifted to me by Lotus at the time).
Were I to pay for the same vantage point this year for an F1 race, it would easily cost a couple of grand.15th February 2013, 12:32 at 12:32 pm #195609
Many thanks :)
As some of you are aware by now, I’ve been doing some minimal racing designs over on a new blog I set up called Pocket Liveries.
I also posted The Constructors of Formula One over there, but now with a larger resolution image for you all to examine ;)
Thanks for the support and kind words :)26th January 2013, 14:50 at 2:50 pm #224514

If it was all 4 for something like 600MSP I’d buy it right away, but 400 per track? No thanks, not for a game I’ve completed already.21st December 2012, 12:39 at 12:39 pm #216235
I was a Paddock Club guest of Lotus for the weekend, my first time at a Grand Prix too :)
I posted about the experience here: http://www.reddit.com/r/formula1/comments/wc21y/photos_and_videos_from_silverstone/

I get the feeling that some of the paddock aren’t fans of the Sky lot either, other than McLaren who are clearly in their pockets. I don’t know but, it seems a lot of personnel are happy to come out and talk to the BBC and relax and laugh along with them, when they are talking to Sky it is like they are going through the motions and can’t really be bothered with them. Little things like Vettel mugging of Brundle last week to speak to Coultard, the lack of access to Vettel Sky appear to have had this week (as pointed out by Keith and noticed by myself too) and just the rapport Jake and Eddie have with a lot of the big players, they always seem to get a lot more insight out of them.
I find that RBR/Sky relationship odd considering that at Silverstone they shared the same Paddock Club lounge.1st November 2012, 23:57 at 11:57 pm #214145
Yup, it’s in the UK/European editions as well :)
Here’s a pic of the page I snapped on Instagram when I spotted it.
To give a little back story, for the past few months I’ve been licensing my artwork out to Memento Exclusives, who sell additional copies of my work, including extra services I can’t provide, such as framing etc. More details on that here.
Memento do a lot of promotion of their sales and such (you all may remember the Jordan 191 they were selling recently) and mentioned contacting Top Gear Magazine regarding promoting my posters and their site. As you can see they made it in the mag, so at least now I can say my work’s been featured in Top gear Magazine, which is pretty neat :)
Regarding my own stock of posters and my personal store, I’m currently winding down things for 2012. I have a few copies of most left and once they’re gone, that’s it for the year*. I’ve no plans for 2013 yet so these may be the last time you see these posters (at least in this style).
Anyways, thanks for the kind words and noticing my work, it’s much apprecated and I’m glad people like them :)

The club caters for everybody, from the hotlappers to the HRTs of online racing, the painters, photographers tuners etc. It’s all good, clean racing too!

I just stay here for my primary news source, the daily round-ups cover most stories while the big ones get their own articles.7th August 2012, 12:14 at 12:14 pm #206883
On the top left there’s icons for SEO, posts awaiting moderation etc. Are they for all members or have I/we been made moderators by mistake?24th July 2012, 14:57 at 2:57 pm #195607
