Lajo commented on the post, Pirelli keen to avoid claim of Red Bull favouritism 4 days, 13 hours ago
@poul
True but who said there was? What I mean is the fastest lap in the race is run on low fuel levels so the times shouldn’t be that much off those in qualifying. The 7% difference shows pretty well how much […] -
Douglas commented on the post, Pirelli bring tyre changes forward to Canada 5 days, 13 hours ago
@poul The reason Pirelli haven’t changed their tires until now is because Pirelli by their own admission didn’t get them right, they aimed for 2-3 stops and got 4 and we have seen a few delaminations plus Alonso […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Fun or artifical? Mixed views in China Rate the Race 3 weeks ago
@poul the intention was that DRS was supposed to be a stop-gap for major changes to the 2014 rules which would reduce overall downforce levels, but sadly the FIA have decided for us that we like DRS and that we […]

BasCB commented on the post, Putting Button’s 1,000 points tally in perspective 1 month, 2 weeks ago
If you want you can now order it according to points / start – just click at the title of the column @poul, Button ends up in 27th, one behind Massa. Its possible he would drop further down with the points per […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Updated F1 team and car data for 2013 1 month, 2 weeks ago
@poul – indeed: he’s been much better this year so far though (it is early days though) and Vettel’s been far enough ahead in qualifying anyway. ;)

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Updated F1 team and car data for 2013 1 month, 2 weeks ago
@poul – fair enough! I just hope Grosjean isn’t the deciding factor! ;)

Jono commented on the post, Were Red Bull & Mercedes right to use team orders? 1 month, 3 weeks ago
@poul + 1 a rare piece with a bunch of refreshing observations – but sadly for most people things ARE what they seem. artificial team orders are a kinda taboo subject most people view it in the same light as […]

Keith Collantine commented on the post, Were Red Bull & Mercedes right to use team orders? 1 month, 3 weeks ago
The reason we have team open orders is because they are absolutely impossible to police
That’s what those who opposed the team orders ban would like to have us believe, but it isn’t the case.
During […]

Ben commented on the post, Alonso defends decision not to change broken wing 1 month, 3 weeks ago
@poul were points possible had he pitted though? he would have been at the back…and a long way behind even the guy running in 21st, a few laps later he would have had to pit again for slicks…im really not sure […]

melkurion commented on the post, “I should have won ’86, he should have won ’87″ – Piquet and Mansell on their rivalry 3 months, 3 weeks ago
I don’t really belive Piquet has ever tried to destroy’s senna’s image. But I do understand how he could be frustrated that Senna is rated so high, whereas he is not, even though his achievments speak […]

electrolite commented on the post, Button: “I’d give Fernando a run for his money” 5 months, 2 weeks ago
@poul He was alluding to how much things have changed since… ‘F1 moves in strange ways’. He used to get a lot of stick, but now he’s a favourite in the media.

@poul No. Their choices will always affect the outcome but what they’re doing now is minimising the amount of variables their tyres will impose.

There are some other key elements (which don’t know about) that aided Hamilton’s decision to leave McLaren. Since the posting of telemetry data on twitter and extended discussions on the contract, his […]

andrewf1 commented on the post, Hamilton says he doesn’t regret Mercedes move 6 months ago
@poul so if he acts with class and dignity and doesn’t lash out at the team, it’s his fault because he’s not helping them realize their screw-ups? the guy really can’t catch a break…geez.

beneboy commented on the post, Hamilton: Vettel “luckiest driver in F1″ after podium 6 months, 1 week ago
I have regularly complained about F1 going to China and several other countries too. I think that the FIA/FOM willingness to support corrupt dictators and tyrannical regimes reflects very badly on the […]
