Proesterchen commented on the post, Which of Paul Ricard’s 167 tracks should F1 use? 1 month, 2 weeks ago
If even Monza can’t force the teams into a low-downforce setup, you can scratch that thought completely for Paul Ricard.
If it’s got corners, they’ll run plenty downforce, because that’s faster overall. And […]

You can’t do that, if a car missed its brake point / has a technical problem / comes in contact with another, it slides directly into the race line if you use the double-wide versions.

Not trying to be a **** here, but didn’t you kind of answer your question yourself there?

None of the above, this circuit in its current incarnation isn’t fit to hold a GP.

Proesterchen commented on the post, Lotus to keep name until 2017 despite losing title sponsorship 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Renault isn’t involved with the team at all, and hasn’t been since 2010.
The new arrangement is very similar to the situation of 1Malaysia in 2010, a team with a licensed name (the same name, in fact), and a […]

That was my understanding as well.

(1) Keeping the name without the $$$s to pay for it is just silly.
(2) I’m sure the companies actually paying the team might want to have a say in its design. Personally, I can’t wait for the colour scheme to change.

Dear Caterham, I find your lack of sponsorship disturbing.

I especially love the over-saturated colours, they add an almost toyish quality to the cars and track.
Beautfil work, and very well done, Jamey! And thanks for featuring his work here on F1Fanatic, @KeithCollantine !

It’s not about the 2011 car, it’s about taking the 2011 data, and applying them to 2012.
Mercedes hoped to build a conversion matrix that lets them translate what they already have to the new car and new […]

I don’t think there is a limit to the number of engines used during testing. Testing is not bound by the 8 engines per driver per year allocation for the race weekends.

I voted EA simply because as a PC gamer, it F1C was the game I was stuck with playing for the longest, yet it never lost its pull.
Beyond that, I still remember the anticipation and buying of GP4 on release […]

Unless there’s a limit on the kilometres covered in a private test, which I don’t think there is, only completing around 200km isn’t exactly encouraging for the W03′s initial reliability.
But, as ivz mentioned, […]
