One round my local town, Chelmsford in Essex…

Tight, narrow and twisty in places…fast in others. I reckon the section on the top right (Sandford Road) would be quite interesting taken at speed. Double run up to the roundabout hairpin could also be removed to make a quicker run down to the Army & Navy roundabout. Circuit is clockwise in my mind as well, plus a lot of places for some different photos :)

I seem to remember a system used in ChampCar called Push to Pass where the drivers get 60 seconds of boost to use over the race. I think that was it, no recharged every lap, no only within 1 second of a car, no can’t be used to defend position etc.

If two cars were following closely and the second car went for the overtake using Push to Pass, the first car could either do the same to defend or let them go to save his boost for later in the race.

I’d prefer this type of system over KERS and DRS.

If we are allowed to think outside of F1, the 2009 NASCAR race at Pocono (round 14) was won by Tony Stewart who started an impressive 43rd…stone dead last!
