I see people recommend others to bring something to protect them from rain. Make it a rain coat instead of an umbrella! If you’ve got bronze tickets you’re really going to spoil the session for people standing or sitting behind you if you’re going to hold up an umbrella and block their view in the process. Unfortunately, I saw plenty of selfish people last year and saw some people get into arguments because of it too. Try thinking of others when you’ve got bronze tickets; the good spots are crowded and it’s that much better for everyone if you try to think of others too. My father and I got into an argument with some guy shooting photos at the outside of Pouhon last year during qualifying, he was easily 2 meters tall, was sitting at the highest point of the hill and stood up everytime a car passed us. Everyone behind him started complaining and thought he was a ****. Don’t be that guy.19th February 2014, 12:51 at 12:51 pm #249057
Found a workaround, but it’s embarrassing this is what it takes tbh.
Log in there and you’ll be redirected back to F1Fanatic, even on iPhone.19th February 2014, 12:29 at 12:29 pm #249056
Still awaiting for a possibility to log in, I’m only rarely on a computer. @keithcollantine18th February 2014, 13:07 at 1:07 pm #248993
@keithcollantine To be honest I think it’s a huge step backwards. I usually browse the website with my iPhone, but the forums look messy on there. My biggest problem however, is that I can not log in on my iPhone anymore. The log in form used to be on the bottom of the index page, but this now loads older articles infinitely. So I had to visit the forums every time to log in, but now the log in form is gone there as well. So now what? No more commenting for me?25th January 2014, 5:55 at 5:55 am #248202
Seriously? This little interest?23rd January 2014, 17:17 at 5:17 pm #248178
Indecided to look it up.
Here lies the answer: http://www.f1technical.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=17643
He estimates a car weighs around 600 kilos in 2014, if he’s a bit off I can see why heavier drivers (the minimum weight limit includes the driver) would make it hard to stay within the weight limit of 690 kilos, especially because the estimations made in the link above are based on minimum weights.20th January 2014, 23:38 at 11:38 pm #230435
Gutted for Van Der Garde if he’s out.3rd January 2014, 13:39 at 1:39 pm #247863
If anything, sportsmen are the most superstitious kind of humanbeings you’ll ever come across.28th December 2013, 5:15 at 5:15 am #247646

Fulfilling his potential? Didn’t he have ONE points finish all year?21st December 2013, 6:32 at 6:32 am #230340
Sauber’s lineup is already the worst on the grid and Caterham and Marussia haven’t even announced theirs yet. Are they aiming to get that elusive 11th place in the constructor’s championship? I’d lose all my motivation if I would work for Sauber, trying to build a competitive car knowing the two drivers racing it won’t nearly extract everything it’s capable of anyway. It annoys me that Sauber sunk this deep, they were always known for finding those rare talents. Oh well, that’s one less team to support.19th December 2013, 17:53 at 5:53 pm #247593
Meh, manufacturer teams are to eager to quit when things don’t go their way. I’d rather have them developing engines. We need BMW back to supply Williams and take the fight to their rivals Mercedes that way, injecting some cash into the Williams team, at least it’s still cheaper than running their own team.
Red Bull Racing Renault, Williams BMW and McLaren Honda sound a lot better than Mercedes and Toyota running entire treams do. Toyota quit and Mercedes will eventually. Renault can still use their part in the RBR succes story in commercials and everyone’s happy. Isn’t supplying engines making manufacturers a profit anyway?17th December 2013, 0:50 at 12:50 am #247224
Why are driver numbers considered “tiny”? Just the fact you, yourself, would have objections to Di Resta and Van Der Garde picking number 27, shows it’s not that “tiny” at all and certain drivers using certain numbers become iconic as time goes by. It’s interesting to me which numbers drivers pick and why they chose them over other numbers.30th November 2013, 16:31 at 4:31 pm #246487
Bit surprised by the lack of interest here.29th November 2013, 18:37 at 6:37 pm #246484
If Formula 1 cars will sound anything like this next year… amazing sound!
