In all truthfullness (that a word?) women drivers bring sponsorship. Perhaps Marussia were looking at her for a long term test driver, like Mclaren have in Paffet, but one that brings in more revenue. But if […]

Yeah front locking generally caused mass understeer. Rear locking causes mass oversteer. Oversteer is generally more dangerous especially when you don’t know when it’s coming (of course it’s situational).

You can lock at any speed if you apply enough force through the brakes. Even easier at low speeds when you consider the friction equation F=<uR. At low speeds R (reaction force, or weight) on each wheel is reduced […]

Currently there aren’t anywhere near as many women engineers (not only in F1, but in all engineering expanses) as there are men. If it means that girls watch motoracing at a young age and have an interest in […]

EBD was indeed used in 2010, that’s when the horrible noises started.

If I had to choose either button or alonso it has to go to Button, no doubt. Because of Alonso’s mistake in quallifying cost him a better grid slot. (it’s driver of the WEEKEND, not just the race).

Never liked Ferrari’s way of doing things – backing one driver, team orders, throwing huge amounts of cash around. Mclaren however, letting drivers fight amongst eachother, becoming carbon neutral – you get a real […]

It’s so strange to see Ferrari down in 16th and 18th…. just feels wrong.

I don’t have sky myself, but can’t you either record it on sky+ or, if they offer it, watch a replay of the live race later on? I’m interested to know if they are showing replays later on in the day at more respectible times.
