Race Commentary. Just in case anyone is interested as fan vision has gone it seems that the only way to listen to the race at the track is via a mobile phone, A t & t plus Verizon give good coverage and offer pay as you go sim cards cheaply for unlocked phones.

    • So not only is there no radio commentary. There are no large screens for those in the grandstands to see what’s happening away from their line of sight. If that is correct. Then I’m sorry to say it, but that is POOR.
You’d get large screens even at old tracks like Imola. They should be there at a state-of-the-art track facility like COTA.

      • Steven…there is at least one screen in front of each Grandstand. This is what is installed at the circuit:

        • I notice that your link is dated 2012. Clive says that the Fan Vision has gone for 2013. I hope he is wrong.

          • No Fan Vision anywhere. They couldn’t come to an agreement with F1 this year. The Link was to show the # & size of the video screens around the circuit. They do have commentary going thru the PA system throughout the day, but when the cars are close to your location it is difficult to hear.
