I’m wondering what most people with bronze tickets bring to the circuit.

I’m thinking about bringing a folding chair, something like this:

It sits fine, and it’s not too heavy but it’s still kinda big to carry around for 2 days….

Question about the bronze area… is it like a green lawn, or is it more like mud after a few showers?

If it’s just grass then i don’t really need to be hauling a chair around, if it’s more like mud then that chair doesn’t seem like such a bad idea to me…

    Hi guys,

I’ve been watching F1 since 1996 and i don’t think i’ve missed a single race since then (but i have fallen asleep during many boring Schumacher era races).

But i’ve never actually been to a race, so i think it’s about time i visit one! I’m from the Netherlands, so i want to visit Spa, sunday only, bronze tickets.

I’m looking for advice from people who have attended Spa.

I want to travel to Spa by car, i’ve read you really need to be sitting trackside at 8 in the morning if you want a good spot (like at a corner, in front of a TV screen?). Is this true?

And how bad is the traffic in the morning?
It takes me 3,5 hours to reach Spa by car, so if i want to be there at 8 o’clock i have to leave at 4 in the morning. But how bad will the traffic be? Will I be stuck in traffic for 2 hours when i reach Spa? Any experience with this?

What would be a good spot to watch the race?

I’m thinking “double gauche” would be a good spot?

What do you guys actually take with you to the track? Small folding chairs? I’m guessing i’ll be sitting on grass…. or will it be more like mud?

I’m hoping for some useful replies!
