F1 16 minutes ago@tmekt – Yeah, I’m a big QOTSA fan. I have been since I heard “Go With the Flow” on the Gran Turismo 4 soundtrack. I also saw Them Crooked Vultures in Sydney a few years ago, and I haven’t been to a live show […]

Keith Collantine wrote a new post, Top ten closest F1 race finishes 5 hours, 39 minutes ago
I happened across a list of the ten closest Indy Racing League finishes on the official website recently and it got me wondering what the closest finishes in F1 history are.
Here’s the ten closest finishes […]

@spawinte If you’ve drawn the conclusion that drivers of the calibre of Dario Franchitti or Scott Dixon or are “accidents waiting to happen” then I don’t believe you “really truly honestly” have given it a chance. […]

Keith Collantine commented on the post, Chevrolet bid to claim Honda’s Indy 500 crown 9 hours, 19 minutes ago
@spawinte I don’t get why people scoff at IndyCar like this. They have some excellent drivers and great racing. They don’t have DRS and every race doesn’t end with a row about whether the tyres were too soft. And […]

Keith Collantine commented on the post, Pirelli criticise “ludicrous” wait for 2014 tyre decision 11 hours, 31 minutes ago
There were simply asked to have a hard compound at each race that could not go further than half race distance & a soft compound at each race that could not do more than 25-30% race distance with about 8 tenth […]

GP2 11 hours, 59 minutes agoA suspension for Cecotto is long overdue, he should have had one after that outrageous incident with Bird in Malaysia. That was done maliciously, while this was sheer incompetence.

Rosberg should definitely have been #2 IMO, he was at least second best behind Alonso this weekend. As for Massa and Raikkonen, I’d have them tied in 3rd.

GP2 12 hours, 58 minutes agoThe problem is that everything Ceccon and Leal did came about as a direct result of Cecotto’s accident. If Cecotto had made it through the first corner, Ceccon and Leal would not have hit the other cars.

GP2 13 hours, 46 minutes agoWell, we all know what the stewards’ response will be – Palmer gets a penalty for the improper use of social media, whilst there is no action taken against Johnny Cecotto.

GP2 14 hours, 3 minutes agoPalmer’s not happy:
Taken out at the first corner by a number of idiots. Absolutely gutted. I’d sooner start from the pitlane than within two rows of Cecotto

GP2 14 hours, 6 minutes agoThat’s remarkable foresight, given that it is only about 300m from to the first corner.
Anyway, Sam Bird recovered from needing repairs to win the race, ahead of Kevin Ceccon and Mitch Evans.
