A Schumi win? That makes me very excited indeed. :) I hope (but not predict..) its MSC, ALO, then a mid fielder or something, with RBR and McLaren (strategically for ALO’s title chances) as far back as possible.

Daniel Brown commented on the post, Hungary set to be hot – but wet 9 months, 4 weeks ago
Im sure if Alonso was reading this, he’d be rubbing his hands together with thoughts of another wet quali, then see that Saturday is forecast sunny, and say “well theres another pole for Vettel then, wonder what […]

F1 10 months agoI accept all of the above points. They are all valid arguments to some degree. I come across strangely because I bear grudges very easily, its just how I am i guess. People around me know not to pee me […]

Well Felipe…if he needs you, then why dont you pull your finger out and go be a rear gunner for him, keep the others behind?
Pfft, Backmarkers these days..

The statistics speak for themselves. Vettel has never won, ever, without being on the front row and when he started second and went on to win, most of the time (i think the actual figure is around 70%) […] -
Daniel Brown replied to the forum topic Worst driver ever to win a championship? in the group
F1 10 months agoOf course, the worst driver to win a world championship, is Vettel. His championships were built soley on the principle of winning from pole.
Without that phenomenon, he would have been just another average […]

Daniel Brown commented on the post, Alonso is fifth driver to reach 30 wins 10 months ago
If Ferrari can sort out their pace in the middle stints, which is always when they suffer, and obtain good performance on the prime and options, and sort out getting the tyres up to it in quali, they can wrap this […]

Got to be Alonso, once again his performance was faultless and nobody else really stood out that much.
Alonso really only has to win a few more times, and pick up points in every race, to maintain some cushion […]

Daniel Brown commented on the post, Vettel and Hamilton at odds over unlapping 10 months ago
Personally I think blue flags are a joke anyway (especially with DRS now) but that’s another matter.
There is every need for blue flags, because without them, inexperienced, talentless and unattentive drivers […]

Daniel Brown commented on the post, Vettel demoted to fifth with 20-second penalty 10 months ago
As others have said, because at no point (as far as im aware) ALO didnt put 4 wheels off track it doesnt class as gaining advantage off track. Im sure Alonso, the wise hack he is, would have been fully aware of […]

Correct me if i am wrong, but surely there is no good reason in terms of safety, why the Hockenheim hairpin, and other areas on that track, cannot be made into gravel traps? It worked in the 90′s, in all but the […]

Ahh but did he gain any advantage doing so? I doubt it.

Justice has been done, on this occasion. Just because he is Sebastien Vettel, F1′s perfect racer hero of recent years, doesn’t mean the rules dont apply to him.
A fair and consistent judgement. Anybody else […]

A lot of people compare them – as both have made comebacks, and both have been successful in their ‘first’ career, so to speak, in that they are both WDC winners.
But it is important to remember, Raikkonen is […]

They would also be mad to not capitalise on the idea of storming a march on the competition for next year’s World Championship, since realistically both titles are gone, McLaren are 87pts down in constructors, HAM […]

Daniel Brown commented on the post, Stewards investigating Vettel’s pass on Button 10 months ago
While he hasn’t done anything wrong from a purely legal-FIA perspective, what he did was certainly not the ‘done thing’ in modern times F1 and that is probably because it causes a nuisance to the front running […]
