Go back further to 2011 and Vettel was the victor in that year’s Spanish Grand Prix. The winning strategy? A four-stopper. Yet where were the Red Bull complaints about having to make so many pit […]

(@vettel1) Oh they’re the spanish races! Got it! Sorry I was being an idiot, I thought he’d gone to great lengths to average out the standard race length per year or something like that, was over-thinking it :/ Thanks!

Exactly my fears as well – the RB is clearly the fastest car, but as much as I hate the tyres, at least they’re helping level the playing field from a 4th year of Newey domination. -

(@tdog) I understand what you’re trying to say, but I think the issue isn’t necessarily the lap times per-se, more the Pirelli effect on the potential lap times. The cars have clearly grown quicker, as the […]

(@baldgye) I think we should start a petition to bring back Ron Dennis. Whitmarsh is a nice guy, and intelligent. But a team principle needs to be more than just a ‘nice guy’ and PR machine – just look at where […]

Simple Solution: Bring back refuelling!!
Oh god, don’t. The current tyres are dire, but the reason we all bitch and moan about their terribleness is because;
a) drivers can’t push.
b) people […] -

Amusing to see Horner still pretending to have some semblance of control over the direction of Red Bull.

I wouldn’t have believed I would be saying this a few years ago, but I hope Alonso wins
Same! I couldn’t used to stand Alonso, though I always respected his abilities, but he’s clearly really […]

I slept through it, how come the RBs are so low? Were they running heavy fuel, or did they not go out in the drier conditions?

Glad it’s not just me that though Webber prefers the proper, non-Tilke tracks. Shame Webber was never really in a proper car in the mid-2000s when […]

I think in some ways it stems from his prior behaviour, which I’ll happy say was questionable. But he’s clearly grown and developed, particularly during 2012, and yet people seem unable […]

Funny I was also thinking of exactly the same example in Monaco :p – nowadays he likely would’ve recieved a drive through at the minimum, or Mansell would’ve just DRS’d past. Urgh.I’ll disagree […]

True, but I also mean that it could be perhaps slightly possible to defend if they wern’t so insanely touchy about penalties nowadays as well. To me the most frustrating thing about Di Resta not […]

(@vettel1) hmm you could be right on Di Resta actually…though would’ve liked to see him fight a little harder for the podium, I guess there’s not a huge amount you can do without getting a penalty nowadays.

(@hellotraverse) I’ll second that to a certain degree, though obviously having not been there I can’t say first hand – but it’s perfectly human to grasp just how much of a true great they’ve lost.
However, I’ve […]

I can give you 2001, but in 2000 Mika did just a fine job, and if there was a lack of […]
