Could they not use a variety of cars? Have an engineer in each pit garage during the free practices or something when bringing new tyres?

I think Maldonado and Grosjean worked pretty hard last year to prove you wrong!

I’m not convinced he does regret it tbh. Whilst I’ve only read what he said, it all seems much more calm and relaxed than I’ve heard from him in years

I heard the same thing and it does make the mclaren time more impressive, but I suspect we’ll see substantially faster towards the end of this test once people really start to understand their cars.
