Anyone know of cheap (but not too sketchy) hotels near the airport or near the circuit and any info about transportation to and from the circuit? Shanghai is pretty easy to get around even without speaking the language, almost everything on public transport is written in English & Mandarin.
If you want a cheap hotel, good cheap chain brands I used to stay in when I was on a budget was Jin Jiang Inn or Home Inn, they are all over the place. English may be a problem in these…[Read more]

Can anyone help, I’m going to be in Shanghai on Sunday and wondered if anyone knew if i’d be able to buy a race ticket on the day? Also can anyone provide advice on the best way to get to the circuit?
