    Keith Collantine commented on the post, Raikkonen and Ricciardo given two-place grid drops 1 week, 2 days ago

    @sorin It wasn’t the teams’ fault at all – it was down to Raikkonen and Ricciardo where they stopped at the pit exit and how many cars they passed when they pulled away.

    I don’t really understand the other part […]

    Keith Collantine commented on the post, Raikkonen fumes at Perez over “stupid move” 3 weeks, 1 day ago

    @sorin That isn’t how it works at all. If a driver is deemed to deserve a penalty and doesn’t finish the race, they get a penalty for the next race. As with Grosjean today.

    Perez didn’t get a penalty because […]

    Keith Collantine commented on the post, Raikkonen: Lotus must work harder to catch Red Bull 1 month, 1 week ago

    @sorin

    You put that headline to underline that Raikkonen is blaming the team

    No I didn’t, that’s just how you’ve chosen to interpret it.

    Max Jacobson commented on the post, Alonso voted Chinese GP Driver of the Weekend 1 month, 2 weeks ago

    @sorin comparing him to other Finnish drivers doesn’t detract from the fact he is very popular due to his “I know what I’m doing”, eating ice-cream antics. He is a good driver yes, but that can’t be the sole […]

    Dizzy-A commented on the post, Alonso voted Chinese GP Driver of the Weekend 1 month, 2 weeks ago

    @sorin

    Vettel never won a race starting lower than 3′rd.

    In return, he’s started on pole more than every driver in F1 history, except 2 of them. So what if he’s never won from lower than 3rd? Starting 3rd or […]

    Max Jacobson commented on the post, Alonso voted Chinese GP Driver of the Weekend 1 month, 2 weeks ago

    @sorin

    How do you think he get that popularity? By doing comercials for Clear/Rexona?? No. Because of his big talent.

    I disagree: I think he got that popularity precisely because he doesn’t do PR activities. […]

    Sure he didn’t @sorin , sure he didn’t

    Keith Collantine commented on the post, Red Bull gives up on team orders as Vettel admits he would defy them again 2 months ago

    @sorin

    Turning the engine down because he used more fuel is not correct.

    According to Horner Webber had used more fuel than Vettel at that point.

    @sorin – nothing was stopping Webber turning his engine back up though, unless he used up too much fuel early on in which case Vettel should’ve passed him anyway.

    Max Jacobson commented on the post, Lotus catching up with their rivals and targetting the top three 3 months, 1 week ago

    @sorin – nobody foresaw Alonso coming second or Hamilton’s championship faltering so badly, what’s your point? As a team, Lotus were behind Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren and there is nothing to suggest they will […]

    Max Jacobson commented on the post, Lotus catching up with their rivals and targetting the top three 3 months, 1 week ago

    @sorin – absolutely going on the track walk may have prevented him from making that error and absolutely he isn’t doesn’t have that uncompromising dedication that Vettel or Alonso has. I am in no doubt over his […]

    Jake commented on the post, Mercedes on top again with Rosberg as testing ends 3 months, 2 weeks ago

    @vettel1 whilst you are probably right to trust !ark Hughes judgement more than @sorin ‘s, his facts clearly show a fundamental flaw in Hughes’ system. In last years final test there was very little difference […]

    Max Jacobson commented on the post, Mercedes on top again with Rosberg as testing ends 3 months, 2 weeks ago

    @sorin – With all due respect, I trust his judgement more than yours. And the method in which they determined those figures is much more sound that Benson’s for example.

    @sorin – you can say that will be the case so surely in Australia based purely on fastest laps in testing?

    Max Jacobson commented on the post, Hamilton says a win is possible after top time 3 months, 2 weeks ago

    @sorin – qually practice is only a very small part of it though: aero runs, race simulations and set-up calibration take up much more time. You only need about an hour or two for qually practice on the last few days.

    @sorin 1994 wasn’t exactly black and white, it wasn’t 100% Schumacher’s fault, and it wasn’t 100% Hill’s fault… In hindsight, if Hill had waited another corner, he would have been safely past Schumacher, but he […]

    @sorin I can already tell off the bat you are wrong, the rpm is set due to the rule book at a cutoff, there is nothing Lotus or any other team can do that would change that. Also what you are describing is a lack […]
