• Ah, brilliant, I have always wanted to post this. I did design a calendar with nearly 50 races but realistically, this will have to do. I have also kept Bahrain, I love that race.

    Pre-season tests:
    Mugello (Italy)
    Losail (Qatar)
    Jerez (Spain)

    Races:
    Australia – Albert Park
    Bahrain – Sakhir
    Malaysia – Sepang
    San Marino – Imola (Italy)

  • Thanks for the credit. This is basically a compilation of all the GP’s and/or tracks that should never have been run into a feasible calendar:

    1. Bahrain (THIS GP MUST GO)
    2. Qatar (not run, but it’s been mentioned)
    3. China
    4. Azerbaijan (the track looks alright but Azerbaijan has no business hosting a GP)
    5. Iran (same situation as Qatar)
    6.…[Read more]

    1. Bahrain (THIS GP MUST GO)
    2. Qatar (not run, but it’s been mentioned; this must never, ever be allowed to happen)
    3. China (I don’t care how popular this GP is- F1 has no business being on the…[Read more]

  • Eddie Irvine did say that Schumi couldn’t always set the car up, but would just drive around it.. put that comment with the one by Rubens about how he should have won some of MSc’s titles and we can assume that Schumi purely just outdrove him on some of his setups.. but there were periods where Rubens was very competitive/faster even, so maybe…[Read more]

  • Well, it’s been said that Kvyat is developing into a bit of a ‘Kimi’, so take from that what you will. But I get the impression that they both give it everything, it’s more how much time/discipline.

But it’s also been said that Verstappen and now Sainz are besting him in the simulator, so perhaps all of that added up is why Marko is giving him a…[Read more]

  • Dream F1 calendar (each round is 2 weeks apart, 1 week of “double-header” is noted) (Teams will have to switch around crews for this)

    1. South Africa (street circuit in Cape Town) January
    2. Caribbean (circuit on Sint Maarten) February (3 weeks after 1st round)
    3. India (Buddh Intl., much revised circuit) February/March) (3 weeks after 2nd…[Read more]
