Bradley Downton replied to the topic Rally Mexico: Day 2 – Issues for Ostberg, Mikkelsen & Kubica roll in the forum World Rally Championship 5 hours, 4 minutes ago
It’s been confirmed Robert Kubica will not return tomorrow after the roll cage of his Fiesta was damaged in today’s roll.
Mikkelsen and Ostberg are expected to return tomorrow but thankfully this afternoon has been a tad quieter so far. Ogier leads from Latvala and Neuville with Elfyn Evans back in fourth.
Unfortunately due to the high rate of…[Read more]
In a recent interview with Jamie Franklin, he voices his bemusement at level of focus of other team principals.
“I’m not really sure what’s going on with everyone at the moment. It seems that on the eve of the new season, people are more focused on other people’s cars than their own, spending precious time travelling the world in ridiculous and…[Read more]
There is no reason why Massa and Williams can’t win the Championship, especially if they are as reliable as in testing. I still think Bottas may be the better bet, especially at 50/1 if you’re going for a Williams driver.
Why not go the whole hog, pray for extreme unreliability, and Bianch/Chilton/Ericsson/Kobayashi to win the first race at 1000/1 ;)
For some reason all of my dreams evolve around my pets!
Here’s another one I had about a week ago:
It was practice at the first race of 2014 (Melbourne) Massa had an absoloutely HUGE crash at turn 9/10 when he spun and flew straight over Kobayashi’s Caterham. Kobayashi’s car was fixed in time for Quali but poor Felipe had to start the race last…[Read more]
Massa for championship? Seriously?
As much as I like Felipe and Williams I see little point in betting for him in the championship. He may finish in the top ten but to win Williams would have to have a faster car than Mercedes and that seems unlikely to happen.
What travel expenses, I’m on rollerskates!
Actually… I need the money, yeah damn right, I had to buy new roller skates. Cost me £12.3m!
Meanwhile, I’ve got to France already, so nearly there @pezlo2013..
*informed Westwood launch is frist*
What? Oh bloody hell. *spins round and heads back to England*
I had a crazy dream last night about the 2014 Monco GP.
It rained springer spaniels, Bianchi lead for about half the race and my budgies (joey, mitch and timo) flew around the track trying to keep up with cars. But of course there were several incidents including a massive crash at Rascasse when Sutil and a JEV both went straight on into the…[Read more]
I think there was a clause in the regulations that allow for changes made on the grounds of safety, reliability, or cost-cutting. That’s my understanding of it, but someone who’s better versed in the regs should be able to clarify.
Really, it just comes down to how long it is before they’re able to produce a race-winning car: even the McLaren…[Read more]
TRT F1 to enter IJGPC

Well, it’s better odds than the lottery, so if you have a tenner to spare, why not?
I can’t stand any betting losses so I don’t bother with it in the first place. I’d rather put my tenner towards a couple of good beers for when I sit down to watch a race – money much better spent, in my opinion (unless, of course, the bet would turn out to be a…[Read more]
