F1 Fanatic - taurus
F1 is just boring now. Especially when you watch every other series of motorsport and pretty much every one has flat out racing all the way through the field.
My vote goes to Grand Prix 2. It was light years ahead of anything, and the gameplay is still pretty good today, obviously graphics-wise it looks pretty dated. Also it has Adelaide/Imola/Hockenheim/Silverstone and a few other decent tracks that were neutered or dropped after 1994. I was still playing it last year til my flatmate got F1 2011 + racing seat + steering wheel…
GP3 was alright too, and have fond memories of F195 on PlayStation.
Good stuff, slightly biased as he was my childhood hero, but usually speaks his mind.
Here’s your London Grand Prix. Bloody fast. And it would work for real, run offs, pitlane, everything. 59 laps.
1991 – age 7. Mansell v Senna, an Amiga and Geoff Crammonds Grand Prix. Barely missed a race since.
Damon Hill with Union Jack. ‘Nuff said.
