The telemetry problem shouldn’t have existed after Australia and certainly not after Malaysia. Its pretty absurd considering how many millions FOM is probably paying for the system.

Maybe teams should be allowed to use their quali and race sets during practice? As long as the same number of sets from each compound get discarded like they do now I don’t think it would make that big of a difference.
